Super Mario has taken out top points in the sixth heat of the 2019 Magic Millions FNQ Up and Coming Stayers Series at Atherton.
The race was ultimately decided in the Stewards' room when the connections of Super Mario lodged a protest against the first runner past the post, Rooster Hunter.
Super Mario, a six-year-old gelding by Zabeel, earned his first points in the series and also put trainer Fred Wieland and apprentice jockey Amanda Thomson on the jockey and trainer leaderboard.
Rooster Hunter, trained by Gareth Horner and ridden by Stephen Wilson, was awarded two points for finishing second. Run Hoff Run for Terry Butts finished with one point in third.
