Racing Queensland advises stakeholders of feature race date changes at the Ipswich Greyhound Racing Club.
The heats of the Ipswich Derby and Ipswich Futurity have been moved from 14 September 2019 to 12 October 2019. Greyhounds whelped on or after 14 March 2017 will remain eligible for the series as per the original conditions.
The reason for the change is to avoid a date clash with the Million Dollar Chase heats at Casino and Lismore. This will maximise opportunities for Queensland based greyhounds competing in feature events during September and October.
As a result of moving the Ipswich Derby and Ipswich Futurity to October, other events have also been relocated as outlined below:
