RACE TWO

PEMBROOKS PASSION (6) was locked away against the pegs over the Menangle mile last start when hitting the line in nice style to be 5m from the winner in finishing mid-field. Luckless the start prior when within 2m of the winner where with better luck he probably wins, he can atone for that here.

SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW (3) aims up for the hat-trick after successive wins at the mile. Rolling forward to the breeze from gate 7 last start, he was able to control the tempo from the chair and out-stay them in a half-head victory. Although preferring the middle-distance, he can still challenge.
 
RUTHLESS ARMBRO (8) was away from this same gate in the early stages last start and was sent forward to work in the breeze. Fighting hard last start, he will be probing for gaps in this contest.

WATTLEBANK FLYER (2) was luckless when looking for back-to-back wins 2 starts back and went to the line untested. Hitting the line stylishly last start behind TENNYSON BROMAC, he can podium.

RACE THREE

TASSINI (8) eased back from gate 6 last start to look for the short-cuts and after being locked away, the tempo of the race was set for the leader to zip home, making it a tough ask for the chasers. Sound to the line 2 starts back behind STAR OF MONTANA, with a rub of the green, she can arrive.

KINETIC KATE (6) has the hoof on the ‘til in one of these mares qualifiers and if she can get some factors in her favour here, will take some beating. Runner-up at her past 2 starts, she closed out nicely last start when 3m from IMA BLACK BEAUTY and will be right in the fight again here.

GINA MACH (2) rolled to the front from this same gate on Tues and after able to get an easy time through the opening half, had enough to claim her 1^st ever 2138m win. She will be trying to repeat.

BARA CHARLOTTE (9) is on the back-up from Tamworth on Thursday when drawing outside the 2^nd line over the mile. Hitting the line strongly there 3 starts back, with the right trail she has claims.

RACE FOUR

FEEL THE REIGN (10) might have the tough gate to negotiate, but he looks to have a slight current form advantage over his rivals. Spearing out to lead them up from gate 4 last start over this trip, he set a solid tempo when holding down 2^nd behind BRADS LUCK. With even luck, this is within reach.

STORMONT STAR (9) was a Penrith winner 3 starts back when dictating in front and scoring a smart win in slick time. Locked on the pegs at his 1^st Qld start when 9m from STOMPEM, he was forced to work in the breeze last start when fading late over the 2138m. With a cart into this he can feature.

EARL JUJON (5) was too far back in the pack last start when trying to make up closing ground and the start prior he was softened up early in front. Finding early position will be key to his chances.

HAVANA MOON (3) started fav here over this trip last time out and despite being buried away along the inside, sprinted sharply to score once the gaps opened. She can chime in here.

RACE FIVE

OUR SEQUEL (2) arrives in Qld with the visiting team of NSW based KerryAnn Morris and will be looking to add another picket to his impressive fence. A winner at his past 5 in succession, the latest win came when working hard in the breeze and proving too tough at Newcastle. Taking control, he looks mighty hard to stop.

ROYAL LINCOLN (4) found the right type of target here 2 starts back and rolling forward from gate 7 to do the hard work in the breeze, he proved too strong. Snagged back from gate 6 last start over the 2138m trip, he closed out strongly to grab the bronze when 9m in arrears. He can fight here.

BRADS LUCK (9) found a much easier target last start in a 2^nd division qualifier and rolling forward, proved too strong in cruising home to a 15m victory. The 2^nd line stings here, but he is in the mix.

ONLY IN ROME (1) went to the pegs from gate 11 last start when looking for short-cuts and was sound to the line when not far from the winner STAR OF MONTANA. With the cosy trip he will be ready to strike.

RACE SIX

HUGHIE GREEN (5) eased back early from gate 5 last start and settling back and watching the speed unfold in front, was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages. His run had merit the start prior against the tempo and if able to find position cheaply in this, can make career start 50 a top one.

AZTEC BROMAC (8) heads North for another campaign and arrives with solid numbers here at the track. Snagged back to the pegs last start from gate 7 over the 2300m trip at Menangle, he was hitting the line nicely in some tidy closing panels behind LORD ZIN ZAN. With early options, he is right in this.

LEOS BEST (7) stayed in the running line last week and was carted back by a tiring runner and when eventually out from behind it, was strong to the line when 6m from MACH ALERT. Despite the tough gate, he can feature here.

THE SHADY ONE (2) hit the line in good order last start when grabbing the bronze behind NORTHVIEW HUSTLER. Finding position here without spending any early petrol will have him primed and ready to unleash his closing power.

RACE SEVEN

Stripping fitter from his latest start when returning from a let-up, MIRACLE RISING (3) should appreciate the stand start conditions after snagging back from gate 7 under the mobile last time. Pressing on to find the front in the Trotters Marathon 2 starts back, he was only beaten a neck and from the 10m, looks well-placed here.

MAYBETOTHEMAX (6) was a tough winner over this trip 3 starts back when sent forward from his 40m impost and was able to sizzle home in scoring a sharp win. Grabbed in the closing stages 2 starts back after setting the tempo and only a half-neck in arrears, he can challenge here.

EMPIRE BAY (7) completed a hat-trick of victories here last start when sent straight to the front from the mobile and keeping the speed on to equal the track record. A winner off this tape over this trip 2 starts back, he is right in the fight.

OUR OVERANOVA (8) is never far from the action and despite his earned 50m back-mark, he will still be in the fight. Digging in from the breeze last start when 2m from EMPIRE BAY, he can take his top-three tally here at The Creek to 79 from 98.

With close up form behind in-form pacers like TENNYSON BROMAC and GUNNRNEEDABIGRBOAT, if he can get the right trip, this race is well within his reach.

COAST WARNING (4) took on a 2^nd division qualifier last start over his less preferred 2138m trip. Settling in the 1x1 trail, he chased hard and despite being down the line behind the clear out winner BRADS LUCK, the next 3 over the line were within 4m of each other. Back to the mile suits here.

SCOTT TOM (8) rolled to the front last start at Redcliffe over the sprint trip and set an even tempo when grabbed in the closing stages. A winner 3 starts back, with the cosy trip, he will be probing.

MISTER HART (6) wsa finding the line in nice style last start when 9m from the winner SPONDOOLEY. That followed a tidy effort when not far away from gate 10 and he has place hopes here.
