The provision of greyhound trialing services at the Cairns greyhound facility has been extended until March 31, 2020, following agreement last week between Racing Queensland and the Cairns Jockey Club.
Greyhound race meetings were discontinued at Cairns in December 2018 but RQ committed to ensuring a weekly trial service as part of the transition arrangements connected to the cessation of racing.
The trials will continue be staged on Friday afternoons. Trails are to be pre-booked with the CJC on (07) 4054 1203 by 12 noon on the Thursday prior.
Early notice is also provided to participants that no trials will be conducted at Cairns over the Christmas/New Year period on Fridays, December 27 and January 3.
