The Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club are due to host the Final of the Listed Capalaba Cup this Sunday, 28 March 2021.
Racing Queensland and club officials inspected the track today (Wednesday) following heavy rain and flooding of the track earlier this week. The inspection identified that the flood water had subsided very quickly, and that the racing infrastructure was in good condition.
On this basis the Capalaba Greyhound Racing Club is preparing to race this Sunday. Racing Queensland will proceed with drawing race fields, consistent with this expectation.
Nominations close with Racing Queensland on Thursday 25 March 2021 at 9.30am.
Racing Queensland and QRIC Stewards will continue to monitor the situation with another track inspection to take place tomorrow (Thursday).
