Last season’s premier rider Baylee Nothdurft will be looking to continue his successful association with the training partnership of Steve O’Dea and Matt Hoysted at Doomben on Wednesday.
Nothdurft has only one ride at Doomben but it could be a successful one aboard Kingston’s Here in the QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap over 1400 metres.
Nothdurft also had four rides at Eagle Farm last Saturday, winning aboard Shooting For Gold for the O’Dea-Hoysted team.
"Baylee has done a lot of work for us around the stables and it was good to give him a winner again," Hoysted said.
"Hopefully, Kingston's Here will be suited by the 1400 metres and will be up on the speed and run well."
Kingston’s Here has missed a place only once in his seven-start career which has produced two wins and four placings.
At his most recent appearance, Kingston’s Here battled on strongly to finish third to the Tony Gollan-trained Starosa over 1350 metres at Doomben on July 10.
It followed a fast finishing second over 1200 metres when he had two runners behind him on the home turn at Eagle Farm on June 26 and a Gold Coast win on June 5.
