RACE TWO

MAJORCA (10) will be looking to remain undefeated since arriving in Aus after completing a threepeat of wins last time out. Obliged to do it the tough way last start, she sat parked and proved too strong in pulling clear for a 3m victory. Too strong over the 2138m the start prior, the gate stings but 4 on the bounce is achievable.

SKIPPYS DELIGHT (6) was sent forward from gate 7 last start to sit parked and was in for the fight when holding on for the bronze behind NO DOUBT. Doing some early work to find a position 2 starts back and not that far from the flying MAJORCA, he can get forward to make a challenge.

SENSE OF OCCASION (2) will take good benefit from his last start when stepping out in Qld for the first time since crossing the Tasman. Burning some early petrol in a sub 27 opener, he was only 3.5m in arrears of the swooper CONGO LINE. He looms large.

TRUE STEPPER (4) returns from a freshen after her last outing back in early July when working early to get to the breeze. With some tempo she can be thereabouts.

RACE THREE

THE ROCKNROLL KING (7) comes up with a big question mark next to his name over this trip having never finished in front from 10 attempts at the middle-trip. However, he has been running some strong races in recent starts to give him the benefit of the doubt. Charging home last start when the race was gone to grab 3^rd, he was runner-up the start prior when beaten a lip. He is worth the risk.

NO DOUBT (2) had the hoof well and truly on the till and franked that assessment last start when landing a well-deserved breakthrough. Runner-up in 4 of his previous 5 outings, he secured running line cover last start before powering over the top to claim the prize. From the good alley he will throw it down again.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (4) ventured to The Triangle 2 starts back and from inside the 2^nd line was runner-up to the leader and winner MORESCO. Making the most of gate 1 to lead throughout over the mile here last start, he is in the mix.

VIGOROSO (3) is yet to land a win in Qld but is moving ever closer to changing that statistic. Buried in the run last start, he made good metres late when grabbing the silver and can feature again.

EXPLICIT CASTLE (4) was sent forward from this same gate over the mile last start and doing all the heavy lifting was still fighting when holding on for the silver. A winner here 3 starts back when charging home over the top, the small field is in his favour, and he can look to capitalise.

HANDSOME HERO (5) is on a drought and is still searching for his first win of 2021. Eased in the early stages last start, he was hitting the line in smart order when 5m from the winner OUR BONDI BEACH. Asked to sit parked and hang tough the start prior behind THE DEMOCRAT, he can throw it down here.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (7) has the wide gate to negotiate but should appreciate the opposition and smaller filed size for this assignment. Given a tough trip 2 starts back, he was making some late metres last start and has claims here.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (3) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when landing the 2^nd line and closing out soundly to finish midfield. Winning his previous 2 in succession at The Triangle, he can chime in.

THIS ONES FOR YOU (8) will need some factors in her favour and will be hoping the 1 can get her to the lane with momentum. If that scenario can occur, she has every chance to cash-in. Kept fresh since her last appearance when running into the smart 3YO HEMSWORTH, she was only grabbed in the last strides here 2 back. The snipers shot can hit the target here.

AYE AYE CAPTAIN (3) settled in the running line from the 2^nd line gate last start but could not get warm over the closing stages when 8m in arrears of the winner DEVOUGED. Not too far from HEMSWORTH 3 runs back, he can settle close to the action here to make a play for the prize.

PARATROUPER (6) started from gate 5 last time out when snagged back in the early stages. Trying to launch a closing raid in finishing 11m from the winner, he has podium claims in this line up.

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (1) fired across from the three-hole to set the speed last start and was trying to fight them off when fading late to be 8m from the winner. From the front he will be gripping on.

AVEROSS DON (10) is yet to win in 8 attempts from behind the mobile but should appreciate meeting these opponents more on equal terms after facing handicaps. He closed out in nice order from the 30m tape last start behind MISTER CHISOLM and 3 back was off 10m as ALADDIN SANE scored. With even luck he can arrive.

MAJESTIC SPEED (11) added another minor to her tally last start when trying to launch a closing raid, finishing 3m in arrears of the winner to hold on for the bronze. Stepping cleanly to find the front and then fight them off here 2 starts back, with the right cart into the contest she can throw it down.

DREAMEE (7) will take great benefit from his first start in Qld when stepping out for the first time in just on 12 months. Only beaten a head after starting from the 40m tape, he has good early moves and can make a play.

HATTIE (2) has been runner-up at 2 of her past 3 starts, the latest when within 3m of the winner MISTER CHISOLM after finding the pocket trail. Both her wins have been from the mobile and she has claims here.

FLASHY SEB (1) has claimed both heats of this Series to date and comes up with the perfect lane to complete the threepeat. Stepping cleanly to lead them up in both heats, he has shown great manners to trot cleanly and been too slick on each occasion. He looks hard to stop.

PARIS KAY (5) is a Sebastian K filly making her race debut for Graham Dwyer. With her early education and qualifying trials all in NSW, she heads to the Sunshine for this Series. Safely away at the trials last start where she stepped but then had no opponents, she is the query runner.

BANFF (3) has made errors when the tapes have released on both occasions that have proven costly to his chances. Chasing hard all the way last time out, the start is all important.

RACE EIGHT

LITTLEDEE (5) was a Redcliffe winner 2 starts back when sent forward early from gate 5 before dropping in to find position. With some early heat up front, she was given her cues at the bell and secured the 3-wide trail before powering over the top to score. A gritty winner 4 starts back, this looks within reach.

BELLAVICTREE (9) has the lone win to her credit with that victory coming here 5 starts back when securing the pocket trail from gate 1. Having to step up against some tougher opponents in recent outings, a return to this grade of opposition looks suitable and with the right trip she can challenge.

CHASIN DREAMZ (3) is on the back-up from Wednesday night where she had some chance from gate 4 over the 1780m. With early speed she can fire out here and first to the poles is in the mix.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (6) should find this a little easier than his past 2 outings where he has trailed them home, the latest when 3-wide the majority. The gate stings but he can be an improver.
