RACE TWO WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1) is on the back-up from Thursday at Redcliffe where she was sent to the post as fav from inside the 2nd line. Too slippery over the closing stages to score on The Triangle 2 starts back, she comes up trumps with the ace here and looks to get every chance in front. NIGHT NINJA (6) has a super record here at Marburg with 7 wins including his last start victory when pressing on to take charge over this trip. That was from gate 3 and once in control, he was never in danger when pulling clear for a comfortable 8m victory. With the easy trip he will be probing. IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) eased as the field was released last start from gate 4 and then was too far back in the pack when trying to make a run. Drawn the 2nd line his previous 3 starts, he has claims. HEY MISTER TAYLOR (7) was resuming from a spell last time out at Redcliffe when settling in the running line from gate 9. Starting favourite, he grabbed grab 3rd and can improve again.
SELECTIONS: WESTERN SHOWGIRL (1), NIGHT NINJA (6), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2), HEY MISTER TAYLOR (7) SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-6-7
RACE THREE CLARENDEN DAZZLER (2) was resuming from a freshen over the Redcliffe 2040m trip last start when not comfortable moving up to the barrier. Able to dive through and lead, he could not see it out when finishing 4m from the winner. Fitter for the run, he has the gate to dictate. CIRCLE LINE (4) has been hitting some nice areas of late with a placing at his past 4 in succession. Eased from gate 4 last time to find the pegs, he was best of the rest behind the leader and winner MANOFLISA. A gritty 2nd here when parked 2 starts back, he can be in for the fight once again. STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (1) has a win and a minor from 4 attempts here at Marburg, his latest start here was 2 runs back when striking trouble. From this gate he is in the mix. HALF MOON BEACH (5) has no favours from the wide gate here but should appreciate a return to the sprint trip after tackling the middle-trip at Marburg last start. Placed in 3 of 4 on this track. SELECTIONS: CLARENDEN DAZZLER (2), CIRCLE LINE (4), STRAYTOTHEPOOLROOM (1), HALF MOON BEACH (5) SUGGESTED BET: CLARENDEN DAZZLER (2) to win
RACE FOUR GOLDEN SAND (2) was resuming here 3 starts back when making the most of his early speed to take control from gate 3. Once in charge, he was able to keep an even tempo in front and hold on for a narrow win. Not much went right his past 2 starts, with this looking ideal for a bounce back effort. ARTISTIC SAINT (1) can burrow through to look to hold the front but might just lack the punch to take up the running. A cosy trip should be on offer thereafter and from 3 pegs last start at Redcliffe was able to grab 3rd when 4m away. He can be searching for a way clear to challenge. SCHEU CREEK (6) looks set to be hemmed away against the poles here and will be searching for a way clear. With a terrific record on this track including 2 wins in his past 4 starts, he can make a play. SUNNY RICE (4) take her first look at this surface and should be near a fitness peak after 5 runs back from a spell. Making late ground after being buried in transit last start, she has podium claims. SELECTIONS: GOLDEN SAND (2), ARTISTIC SAINT (1), SCHEU CREEK (6), SUNNY RICE (4) SUGGESTED BET: GOLDEN SAND (2) to win
RACE FIVE DALLAS COWGIRL (7) started from gate 8 here 2 starts back and was just required to work too hard in the early stages when circling them to get up outside the leader. Easing from gate 4 last time, she was back in the pack when trying to launch her raid and not too far off them. This looks ideal. PAGEANTRY (2) started from the 2nd line at Redcliffe 3 starts back and was wide off the track when looking to join in. Chasing hard, he grabbed the silver behind WHATELEY and backed that up when 3rd at his next appearance. Settling handy from this alley can see him issue a challenge. WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4) was a winner here 5 starts back when asked to sit parked and then proving too strong in clinging to a narrow win. A return to Marburg can see her on the podium. VIC HUNTER (1) fired out from gate 2 last start when looking to take them all the way but wilted after the early pressure. Fitter following 3 runs back from a long spell, the gate will aid his chances. SELECTIONS: DALLAS COWGIRL (7), PAGEANTRY (2), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4), VIC HUNTER (1) SUGGESTED BET: DALLAS COWGIRL (7) to win
RACE SIX COUNTRY RUN (1) has some ordinary numbers next to his name and will be looking to overcome a win drought that dates back to February. Despite those imposts, he may just have found the right conditions to turn it all around. With the speed to light the lamps, he will be trying to see it out. DARBY BRIGHTS (4) was trying to make the most of gate 2 last start when sent to the front over the Redcliffe sprint trip. Unable to see it out, she faded to be 9m from the winner HARRY CROFT and looms as a place hope in this. OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (8) eased out of it in the early stages last start from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip and then never really warmed up. A winner of 2 of his 3 on this track, he has claims. AURORA ROSE (3) has not been seen since October 4 when she was eased out of the race with a tyre issue. Trying to join in from back in the field the start prior, she can feature fresh. SELECTIONS: COUNTRY RUN (1), DARBY BRIGHTS (4), OUR EDUARDO DENARIO (8), AURORA ROSE (3) SUGGESTED BET: COUNTRY RUN (1) to win
RACE SEVEN FAVREAU (2) started from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back and was hemmed away in the pocket trail before finding space to make a late dive and come up within a half-head of the winner. Unable to warm up from back in the pack last start over the AP mile, he can fire out and look to see it out. ALTANA BLUE (4) made the most of conditions here 2 starts back when rolling forward to take control from gate 3. With a slick opening panel, he was able to keep them rolling and pull clear for a big 13m victory. Striking trouble last start, he can get forward to throw it down once again. OLIVER WINKLE (3) bounced back to winning form last time out at Redcliffe when pouncing on the poles and gripping on in the stretch to claim a half-head victory. A 2-time winner on this track, he is in the fight. KAY NORA SHANNON (7) angled to the poles last start from gate 9 over the 2040m at Redcliffe last time and then used the passing lane to grab the silver. Her record here is not great, but she can feature. SELECTIONS: FAVREAU (2), ALTANA BLUE (4), OLIVER WINKLE (3), KAY NORA SHANNON (7) SUGGESTED BET: FAVREAU (2) to win
RACE EIGHT LITTLE CHANGE (8) takes his first look at the Marburg track under race conditions and comes into the contest with a last start 3rd when using the passing lane over the Redcliffe sprint trip. 5m from the winner LIFES BLACK in that contest, it followed a 5m margin behind BOLTA when never sighting a gap. With even luck he can capitalise. LORIMER LADY (2) is a three-time winner here at the track and comes up with the gate to settle close to the action. Luckless last time out over the Redcliffe sprint trip as GASMONKEY controlled it from the breeze, she was similarly unlucky here 3 back. From the gate she can make the challenge. FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7) started from the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and was soon peeled wider to move forward and sit parked. Luckless from inside the 2nd line here 2 starts back, he can make a play. CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5) was banished to the trials for his effort here last time out when wilting badly over the 2200m. With a smart trial to earn the return, he can chime in late from the tough alley. SELECTIONS: LITTLE CHANGE (8), LORIMER LADY (2), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (5) SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE CHANGE (8) to win
