Racing Queensland advises that today's Tattersall’s Racing Club race meeting at Aquis Park Gold Coast has been abandoned.
QRIC Stewards and a delegation of riders who worked horses on the racing surface this morning determined that it is unsuitable for racing on following a further 10mm of rain overnight, resulting in a total of 130mm having fallen in the past week.
RQ will endeavour to re-program the two black-type races on the card to other race meetings within the next 7 days.
Participants with commitments at the meeting have been advised via SMS.
