The purchasers of four selected yearlings sold at the Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale on Sunday will have their first $250 sustaining payments paid for the rich Garrard’s Redcliffe Sales Classics.
The names of the four youngsters will be drawn from a hat by auctioneer Darren Ebert prior to the sale starting at 12 noon.
Graduates from the sale will be eligible for the Garrard’s Redcliffe Sales Classic carrying $100,000 stakemoney to be held at Redcliffe Paceway in June, 2023.
A total of 66 well-bred yearlings by Australasia’s leading sires and emerging sires have been nominated for the sale with strong drafts from many of Queensland’s most successful breeders.
The sale is a non-reserve auction with no upset price, and bidders can bid online via the link on the Darren Ebert & Co website.
All horses sold at the sale are eligible to compete in the $100,000 Garrard’s Redcliffe Sale Race Classic in June 2023 and the 3YO Classic in 2024.
Most horses are eligible for the QBRED scheme carrying $3.5 million in stakemoney and bonuses. They are also eligible for the NSW Breeders Challenge, Vicbred, Breeders Crown, Bathurst Gold Crown and NZ Sires Stakes.
