RACE TWO

JUST ONE GOOD ONE (8) secured the pocket trail last start over the 1780m trip at Redcliffe but was unable to finish it off and fading down the line. Slowly away last time from the standing start, the gate stings but with the right trip can be powering over the top of them.

MUSTANG DUDE (2) set the speed here three starts back and led them swinging for home, only for NOT THE KINGSWOOD to descend the stretch to take a narrow victory. He looks to have the speed to find the pegs and gets the opportunity to pinch it.

TURN TURN FLYER (6) will be searching for some luck from this gate. Asked to do it the tough way last start when to sit parked and fighting hard for 3rd, the gate makes it tricky.

NEVAEVABEND (4) has placed in two of her previous three starts, the latest when locking wheels when searching for a spot. With even luck, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (8), MUSTANG DUDE (2), TURN TURN FLYER (6), NEVAEVABEND (4)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ONE GOOD ONE (8) to win

RACE THREE

CANNAN (2)
fired off the gate from this alley here to starts back and was looking to lead throughout. Best of the rest as HEARTBREAK powered past and put up a 20m margin, he was buried away at Redcliffe at his next appearance. From the gate he finds conditions to capitalise.

JANG PEL (1) opened his 2022-win account last start when taking a trail from gate 1 before owning the superior closing speed to arrive for the prize. Fading here two starts back in a Goldstrike heat, he comes up with all the options from this alley to throw down the challenge.

FORGIVE ME (7) was a winner here five starts back when sent to the breeze from outside the second line. Pulling clear for a comfortable win, she has placed her past two starts and can feature again.

PACIFIC COIN (9) ended his chances with a starting error in the Goldstrike heats when finishing well-beaten. Eased to the rear from a wide front-line gate at Redcliffe two start back, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: CANNAN (2), JANG PEL (1), FORGIVE ME (7), PACIFIC COIN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: CANNAN (2) to win

RACE FOUR

DARBY BRIGHTS (1)
was safely away in the heat and almost looked to have got across but was just short of finding the speed to take up the lamp lighting duties. Siting parked thereafter, it was a game effort when finishing just 2m in arrears of the winner. Beaten a half-neck on Wednesday night, she can capitalise.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3) has worked his way into some form and lines up here with three wins at his past five starts. Sent forward to sit parked from a wide gate last time out, he was able to graft out a determined victory. With a safe step from the tapes, he can throw down the challenge.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (2) is the emergency for the Final and will line up in this consolation of not require. Grabbing 3rd in the heat, he followed that with a Redcliffe 2nd and finds a chance to cash in.

ITS MR CLOONEY (10) has the 30m back tape to negotiate in this race after missing the Final when 4th in his heat before grabbing the silver last start behind the impressive WATTS UP SUNSHINE.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (1), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3), MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (2), ITS MR CLOONEY (10)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (1) to win

RACE FIVE

STUDLEIGH MARK (1) is yet to find a win this season but might just have found the conditions to sneak home with the prize. Too far back last start when HEARTBREAK swept home to the win, it followed a 3rd from the second line. The improved gate can be the catalyst to recapture some form.

ROYAL PRINCESS (7) made the most of the opportunity to pounce on the lead last start and once in control was never in danger to claim victory by 7m. A two-time winner here at Marburg, the gate makes the task more difficult, but she is still up to the challenge.

PAGO PAGO (2) secured the prefect trip in behind the speed last start at Redcliffe before making the passing lane shot a winning one. Close to the speed again in this, he has podium claims.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (6) was only 6m from the winner here last start but never saw open road to make a challenge. From this alley he will be likely probing for openings once again.

SELECTIONS: STUDLEIGH MARK (1), ROYAL PRINCESS (7), PAGO PAGO (2), CHEDDAR MADE BETA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: STUDLEIGH MARK (1) to win

RACE SIX

HEARTBREAK (9)
started from this same gate two starts back and was sent around them in the early stages to sit parked. Putting the leader away and forging clear, she was able to secure a 20m winning margin. Runner-up at Redcliffe last start, she can overcome the horrid draw.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1) returned from a spell as the runner-up in three successive starts, two of those runs here on this deck. Working hard in the run when parked in two of those, she comes up with the gate to throw it down.

LA PISTOLA (3) secured the perfect trip last start when finding the pocket trail before using the passing lane to grab the prize. Settling handy to the action can see him feature.

ABERCROMBIE TAB (7) was a gritty winner here two starts back when sitting parked from gate 4 and toughing it out. With the right trip he can again be issuing a podium play.

SELECTIONS: HEARTBREAK (9), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (1), LA PISTOLA (3), ABERCROMBIE TAB (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HEARTBREAK (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

SO AM I (2)
was resuming from a freshen in the heats and after stepping cleanly was content to race first over. Putting the leader away at the 400m point, he kept rolling to pull clear to a 33m winning margin. With added fitness from the run, he draws tight to the poles and can cash in.

CANT BLUFF YOU (10) was large in defeat in the heats, galloping off the tapes before being sent forward wide off the track and holding on for the bronze to sneak into this Final. Too slick two starts back at Redcliffe, if the tapes and the traffic are the concerns.

ALTANA BLUE (6) found the pocket trail in his heat and when finding the space at the top of the stretch, was able to finish best to take the win. A two-time winner on this track, he is in the fight.

LETTERKENNY BOY (11) was having his first look at this track and first standing start appearance in the heats when sitting parked and fighting them off. He needs to overcome the 30m, but is up to the task.

SELECTIONS: SO AM I (2), CANT BLUFF YOU (10), ALTANA BLUE (6), LETTERKENNY BOY (11)
SUGGESTED BET: SO AM I (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

IMA BEACH BABE (2)
made the most of gate 1 at Redcliffe last start, taking control soon after the start and was never headed in claiming a comfortable 3m margin. A beaten favourite here two starts back, she will appreciate this level of competition.

MISS MIA (4) has the wider gate to overcome, the same alley she started from last start when wide off the track in the closing stages. Not beaten far in that contest, she can again look to throw it down.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (7) might just find the right trip to return a shaper performance after struggling in recent starts. With three runs back since his spell, he can feature.

ELEVATE (1) resumes from a spell after facing the starter just three times in her career. One of those three was a Redcliffe victory second up after a tough run and from the good alley she can chime in fresh.

SELECTIONS: IMA BEACH BABE (2), MISS MIA (4), CHANCELESS CENTURY (7), ELEVATE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA BEACH BABE (2) to win

RACE NINE

BULLDOG BRAWLER (2)
was sent forward from gate 6 over the AP mile last start and despite doing all the heavy lifting, was able to hold on to be just 5m from the winner. Powering home from the second line to score here two starts back, he has hit the board in all 7 starts here and can go again.

ROLAMAX (8) settled in the 1x1 trail at Redcliffe two starts back and when asked for the effort, was able to arrive over the top to take the prize. Just a neck away last start via the passing lane, he faces a task from the second line but looks up to the challenge.

ONE LAST ROLL (9) took them all the way here two starts back and followed that with a 2nd placing in a qualifier when finishing just 2m in arrears of the winner. With even luck form the tricky gate, he can chime in.

GOALKICKER (3) was wide off the track last time out at headquarters and the tough trip took a toll as she faded back through the pack. With early hustle, she is right in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BULLDOG BRAWLER (2), ROLAMAX (8), ONE LAST ROLL (9), GOALKICKER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BULLDOG BRAWLER (2) to win
