Racing Queensland confirms that the Gold Coast Turf Club race meeting on Saturday, May 21 has been abandoned.
The early decision has been made on the basis that the course proper at the venue has already received massive volumes of rainfall over the past week, and the forecast is for a continuation of inclement weather over the next 48 hours.
Racing Queensland will consider programming options in the next week.
