Following consultation with club management and a track inspection, Racing Queensland confirms that the Kilcoy Race Club race meeting on Friday, May 13, has been postponed.
The racing surface has been subjected to a major rain deluge over the past 48 hours to the extent that there is no possibility that the surface will recover in time for Friday’s race meeting.
The meeting’s status has been defined as “postponed” at this stage as Racing Queensland endeavours to secure an alternative date/venue for it.
It should be noted however that irrespective of the weather which prevails beyond this Friday, it is not possible that it can be hosted at Kilcoy.
Trainers holding nominations for the meeting have been advised via SMS.
