The Longreach Jockey Club non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, May 21 has been rescheduled to be conducted by the Barcaldine Race Club.
Extensive rainfall has fallen on the Longreach track this month, and the drying process has been hampered this week, making the track unsuitable for racing.
The race program for the rescheduled meeting will be as was for the Longreach race meeting with the exception of the distance of the QTIS RB0-55 Hcp and Open Hcp being amended to 1300m (prev 1400m).
Due to the rescheduling, there will be no fees levied for scratchings from this meeting.
Acceptances lodged for the Longreach meeting will automatically carry-over for the Barcaldine meeting .
