The Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sale produced five winners in the space of 24 hours.
Odins Black Crows (Hurrikane Kingcole-Only Rainbows) and For Real Life (For A Reason-She’s Elegant), both graduates of the 2021 sale, registered their first successes at Albion Park on Tuesday afternoon.
For Real Life, an $18,500 buy for Trent Dawson, rated 1:56.6, while Odins Black Crowns went in 1:59.
The following night at Redcliffe, Teddy Disco (Tintin In America-Three Jewels) and Bangkok Deejay (A Rocknroll Dance-Bangkok Dancer) won the two heats of the Garrard’s Redcliffe Yearling Sales Series for three-year-olds.
Both very impressive winners were products of the Garrard’s Redcliffe sale in 2020.
Teddy Disco has won nine of his 15 starts for $133,402, while Bangkok Deejay has won six out of 10 and $42,581.
The pair will likely face off in the Group 2 $50,000 at Redcliffe on June 17.
On the same night, Redcliffe sale graduates filled the first five placings in the two year-old event. The winner Tardelli (Huntsville-Lady Savoia) has won five of his six starts including the $110,000 Bathurst Gold Crown.
