RACE ONE

WHERES TASCOTT (1) started from this same gate four runs back and was soon snookered away on the poles and looking to be in all sorts. Finding gaps and charging home to score, she bumped into the handy SMIRKS LIKA BOSS at her next appearance. The right trip from this gate can see her home in an open contest.

JACOBS THUNDER (3) was chasing a winning hat-trick last start and after landing inside the second line then had the pocket trail in transit. Managing a midfield return behind COURAGEOUS SAM, his previous wins came at Marburg and Redcliffe. From the gate he can make a play.

LANCELOT BROMAC (4) keeps on keeping on and last start was finding the line in nice order to be just 2m from the winner. Beaten a similar margin three runs back, a win would not surprise here.

A RAINBOW DANCER (7) has the outside paint to negotiate owing to her own manners but was still able to shanghai off the arm last start from this alley to lead. Fading late, she can feature in this.

SELECTIONS: WHERES TASCOTT (1), JACOBS THUNDER (3), LANCELOT BROMAC (4), A RAINBOW DANCER (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

After a credible performance through the DJA Series that included a 2nd in a heat, INDEFENSIBLE (7) should appreciate the conditions of this contest from the 10m tape. Closing hard in the second round to be just a half-head from the winner, he did some early work in the Final and this should suit.

KAR MANOR (12) is in search of a hat-trick and has been listed as the emergency in Saturday night’s G2 Trotters Mobile. His effort from the mobile last start was sharp, powering up through the middle stages when looping them and throwing down a 58.3 middle half. If he steps cleanly, he looms large.

RIGONDEAUX (10) missed the DJA Final after finishing down the line in the first heat and then midfield in the second round. Making late metres for 3rd to KAR MANOR at the mobile last start, he can feature here.

PARIS KAY (9) is just a 3YO tackling the older opponents here and facing the 10m tape. Grabbing 3rd at Menangle last start in a 3YO G1 event behind EGRET, she is 2 for 2 here at The Creek and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: INDEFENSIBLE (7), KAR MANOR (12), RIGONDEAUX (10), PARIS KAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Hitting some good areas like most of the Dan Russell stable are at present, FOR NO REASON (5) has been in the money at 5 of her past 6 starts, the attest wen using the passing lane to grab the silver behind IMA BIRUBI BOY. Powering over the top to score here two runs back, this is within reach.

MISTER WOODPORT (3) was eyeing off a hat-trick last start when gate 6 proved his demise, snagging back early and then not getting much in his favour thereafter. Too strong in the closing stages at Marburg two back, he arrived via the passing lane at Redcliffe three back and can challenge here.

ARCHILLES (4) was hemmed away against the poles here two starts back and when finding space, was able to grab the silver behind the clear out winner MAYWYN TROUBADOR. 6m away last start, he has claims.

OUR BOY ROY (6) started from gate 5 at Redcliffe last start when sent to do it the tough way first over. Fighting hard to be 2m from the winner, his record on this deck is handy at 6: 2-1-0.

SELECTIONS: FOR NO REASON (5), MISTER WOODPORT (3), ARCHILLES (4), OUR BOY ROY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: FOR NO REASON (5) to win

RACE FOUR

A nice supplementary event from those missing Saturday night has been compiled here where with second line options MALCOLMS RHYTHM (8) can look to recapture winning form. Sent to sit parked last start from gate 5, he was fighting hard when 7m from COLT THIRTY ONE. Not far from TRIPLE EIGHT at Melton the start prior, this looks his chance.

MAJOR JELLIS (7) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories last start when gate 6 was his undoing in tough grade as ROCKIN MARTY powered over the top to score. Claiming a 90Final the start prior in slick time when sent forward to take control, he can make a play in this line up.

APHORISM (2) made the most of a fence draw last start and was making a closing raid when only a half-neck from the winner but finishing with the bronze. He is in the mix again from this alley.

MY ULTIMATE STAR (5) has been sectionally super in recent weeks, but circumstances have seen him just behind the winner each time. Wide off the track last start, he was 3rd to ROCKIN MARTY two back and can feature.

SELECTIONS: MALCOLMS RHYTHM (8), MAJOR JELLIS (7), APHORISM (2), MY ULTIMATE STAR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MALCOLMS RHYTHM (8) to win

RACE FIVE

GO JO JOLT (6) has been close in recent starts, finishing as the runner-up in 3 of her past 4 starts. Sent wide around the pack last start at Redcliffe, she made a closing raid only to come up just a nostril short of victory. A half-head away the start prior, she can look to defy the gate.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) has hit the board at his past five in succession, including a win at Redcliffe two runs back when powering over the top after starting from the second line. Asked to hang tough last start for a fighting 2nd, the gate stings but he is going well enough to challenge.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (4) pressed forward to take control last start and from the front was collared in the closing stages to be 3m adrift of the winner after starting in red figures. He can be thereabouts again.

LITTLEDEE (8) will need a slice of luck from this alley as she looks set to be locked away, but the economical trip should suit. Wide gates have stung in recent starts, and she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: GO JO JOLT (6), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7), WILD ABOUT TOWN (4), LITTLEDEE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GO JO JOLT (6) to win

RACE SIX

Bouncing back into winning form to record his 25th career victory last start, ARTHUR LOWE (2) lands the gate and a similar set up to look for the repeat. Eased to the poles with speed underneath last time, he had the power to arrive for a 3m margin. The gate and line up appeal.

EH EF EL (1) released the speed last start to take the trail but then could not get going when the power went on at the close of the 2138m trip last time out. A return to the mile is in his favour, his last appearance at the sprint trip when just 3m from the winner BEAU CISHLOM.

HANDSOME HERO (4) is knocking on the door in this claiming grade, having been runner-up in 3 of his past 4 appearances. Pressing to the front last time, he was grabbed late and is in the mix again.

TULHURST ACE (3) was sent to the post as the fav last start and soon found himself hemmed away on the poles and needing plenty of luck. Closing out in nice order two runs back, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: ARTHUR LOWE (2), EH EF EL (1), HANDSOME HERO (4), TULHURST ACE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ARTHUR LOWE (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

Taking good benefit from his last start where he was returning from a spell, MISTER DIAMOND (6) has a tricky gate but finds the right type of contest for a breakthrough. Just 5m in arrears over the mile at his last run before being sent for the break, he claimed a Saturday night win four runs back.

FRANCO NANDOR (7) charged off the arm from this same gate last time out at the 2138m to fid the front before releasing for the trail. Holding on for 2nd behind the SE Oaks bound COVER GIRL, it followed a luckless effort when snookered against the poles. He can get forward to challenge.

DESPONDENT (3) was not suited when asked to race first over from gate 4 last time out and wilted in the stretch. 6m from the winner two runs back, limiting the burn can see him feature.

PARAMA (8) has placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when locked away from gate 1 and tracking home for 3rd behind COVER GIRL. With a cosy trip, he can be searching for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MISTER DIAMOND (6), FRANCO NANDOR (7), DESPONDENT (3), PARAMA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER DIAMOND (6) to win

RACE NINE

Listed as the emergency for Saturday night’s SE Derby YAREADYFREDDY (10) has the second line to overcome at his first look at The Creek. His effort was large last start at Wagga to get within a half-head of the winner which followed an effortless Cowra victory. This will be an ask, but he can answer.

MY ULTIMATE JOHNNY (6) started from inside the second line last time out when making his first Qld appearance. Angled off the pegs into the running line and then sent wide around the pack, it was a smart effort to get within 3m of the winner LANAI. He can bounce back.

BONNIES DANCE (9) has started her career in neat fashion with a pair of wins from just four outings. Darting through on the passing lane last start, she needs to step up again here but looks up to it.

SO AM I (11) started from the inside alley here last time out and from the pocket trail tried to reel in the winner CANTFINDABETTORMAN but came up a neck short. The gate dampens his hopes.

SELECTIONS: YAREADYFREDDY (10), MY ULTIMATE JOHNNY (6), BONNIES DANCE (9), SO AM I (11)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

In a race that should generate some early heat, ONE BIG SHEW (4) can look to slot in near the action. Not suited last start when sent around them from the second line to sit parked, his effort two back was solid when a half-head shy of the prize. With the right trip he can arrive.

GENERAL MONTANA (6) has the tough gate to negotiate but should appreciate a return to this grade. Holding on for the bronze last start in a qualifier when just 1m in arrears, the start prior he set all the tempo in front of a 1.51.8 mile when just 8m away. He can throw it down.

MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (2) was beaten by the second line at Marburg last time out which followed a neck margin at Redcliffe from the pocket trail. The gate helps his chances.

BE MY ROCK (8) was sent to the post as the fav last start at Redcliffe from outside the second line and finishing 7m astern of the winner. With the cosy trip in behind the action he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: ONE BIG SHEW (4), GENERAL MONTANA (6), MONGOLIAN CONQUEROR (2), BE MY ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ONE BIG SHEW (4) to win
