MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (2) showed some early hustle before dropping in for the trail last time out. Angling away into open space, he owned superior closing speed to charge over the top to a 6m margin. Settling handy to the action can see him throw it down once again. TRACER BULLET (8) was trying to go with them over the AP mile two starts back when finishing midfield. Given a tough trip wide off the track here on Thursday, with a better trip, he can make a play against this grade of opponent. WESTERN SHOWGIRL (9) has grabbed the bronze in 3 of her past 4 starts, the latest when using the passing lane to be 5m astern of the winner. The gate dents her claims.

RACE TWO JOY MAKER (1) overcame the outside second line gate at Marburg last start, finishing best and running clear to take a 10m margin. A long way back in the pack two runs back, she lands the perfect gate here to avail the options and claim a back-to-back victory. MY SECRET BEACH (9) has been hitting some nice areas in recent outings, running the winner to a neck three starts back with a pair of wins sitting either side of that narrow 2nd. Doing some early work before finding cover here on Thursday, he was flat in the stretch when trying to offer. Despite the tricky gate, he can be sharper in this. TEACHERS PET (4) has been given a freshen since her last outing when fading out to the rear. Just a half-head from the winner two runs back, she can be thereabouts here. TACTFILLY MIRACLE (7) was a winner here three starts back from gate 9 after securing running line cover and finishing best. Charging home after being buried last start, she can be probing for gaps.

RACE THREE ONYA DOUG (1) is yet to land a winning blow this season, but in recent attempts, tough gates have hamstrung his efforts. OYSTER STRIDE (8) released from gate 1 at the 2040 three starts back and then finished a half-head in arrears. Making the most of the same gate to take the all the way at the same journey at his next start, he faded on Thursday after sitting parked. In this line-up, he can challenge. CHANCELESS CENTURY (5) was first up for the new stable two runs back where he was eased to the poles before charging home to claim a narrow victory. Strong to the line last start, he can join in. ROYAL PRINCESS (3) has been freshened since her last outing when setting the speed but wilting badly after a steady opening half. With the right trip, she has podium claims. LADY ALLEGRA (5) will take some benefit from her run here on Thursday where she was returning from a spell and found the line in nice order. 2m from the winner over the AP mile three runs back via the passing lane, she is afforded no favours from this wider alley as she looks to make a challenge. FORGIVE ME (2) settled in the 1x1 trail from gate 3 here two runs back and saved for a closing rally, finished best to take a neck margin. Luckless last start from outside the front line, she can join in. BUTCHERFEELGOOD (6) struck trouble last time out at Marburg and was at the tail of the field. Unable to get warm here two runs back, she can be looking to join in late. RACE FIVE BEEF CITY STARZZZ (4) made the most of conditions last start at Marburg, burrowing through from gate 1 to keep them wide and then take them all the way. Runner-up here two starts back when 2m in arrears of the winner TICK OF THE CLOCK, he can defy the tricky gate to claim the prize. DARBY BRIGHTS (5) was too tough for them at Marburg three runs back when sitting parked and putting them away to claim a narrow victory. Just 1m from the winner at her next start, the second line was her undoing last time out. Despite the wide gate, she can challenge at career start 200. THREE MACHS (3) had the closing speed to arrive after starting from the second line here last time out. In some nice touch with 3 wins in her past 5 attempts, settling handy to the action will help. LIVING FREE (1) has placed at his past two starts, both when starting from this gate. Taking the trail last start, he tried to make a closing play when 3m astern of the winner. RACE SIX MISTER HART (2) showed some early speed last start over the AP mile before taking the 1x1 trail but was unable to go on with it, fading to the rear as UPTOWN BEACHGIRL arrived. Hemmed away over the 2138m two starts back, he can fire out to take control and if limiting the burn, can see this out. CAMROLLER (1) will take good benefit from his first up effort here last time out where he sat in the pocket trail when in the second half of the pack behind BETTOR JIGGLE. That was his first run in over 12 months and with the benefit of the pole draw, can secure the economical trip to challenge. ROCKNROLL MAX (4) started from the second line last start and was angled down to the poles to look for the short way home behind OYSTER STRIDE. The small field and front line aid his chances. RACE SEVEN LITTLEDEE (5) started from outside the front line at Marburg last start where she eased early before making a wide run off the track to get within 4m of the winner. Buried away from inside the second line at headquarters in a tougher race the start prior, she can defy the gate to arrive in this line up. WAVEDANCER (8) fired out from gate 4 last start to find the front and taking control was able to walk them through the second panel. Grabbed in the latter stages to hold 3rd, he can press through early from this alley and with the right trip, look to issue a challenge. MANY DELIGHTS (7) covered plenty of the track last time out when working hard and giving to the line when 2m from the winner CLARES FOOL. The inside second line is not his best option, but he can find space to feature. MUSTANG DUDE (3) was obliged to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked before fading late over the Marburg 1850m trip. He might just be able to clear them here which will aid his hopes. RACE EIGHT
MAJOR GRANDEUR (8) faced a second line gate at Marburg two starts back and never got warm in the latter stages as BEEF CITY STARZZZ dictated in front. His effort here on Thursday was enough to suggest with the right trip, he can be winding up to take his chance in this. FLOORLESS (2) is still chasing the elusive maiden breaking victory and finds herself back in the main draw after a period on the ODM list. Eased from the wide gate last start before making some nice metres in the closing stages, her starting manners will be important to make a play here. WEASEL (1) was looming up wider on the track last start after securing the 1x1 trail and made a late rally to be just 1m astern of the winner. He will need to burrow through, but this is a winnable contest. HIT THE TRACK (5) held the pocket trail last start from gate 1 over the AP mile and with the cosy trip was just 4m from the winner JACOBS THUNDER. Making some nice metres in the stretch the start prior, he is right in the fight here. SELECTIONS: MAJOR GRANDEUR (8), FLOORLESS (2), WEASEL (1), HIT THE TRACK (5) SUGGESTED BET:
