Ipswich Turf Club meeting transferred to Sunshine Coast Turf Club

Racing Queensland advises that following an extension of the track refurbishment works which are currently being undertaken at Ipswich Turf Club, the club’s race meeting scheduled for September 28 has now been transferred to Sunshine Coast Turf Club.

The club and venue change have necessitated amendments to some race distances on the program. They are:

• Class 3 Handicap - was 2150m, is now 2200m;
• Benchmark 68 Handicap - was 1666m, is now 1600m;
• Benchmark 65 Handicap - was 1350m, is now 1400m; and
• Class 1 Plate was 1666m, is now 1600m;  

The distances of the remaining races on the program remain as have been previously published.
