The Julia Creek Turf Club non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, November 12 has been abandoned due to the state of the track following the first race.
A heavy downpour occurred after race one and the track was deemed unsuitable for racing following a QRIC Stewards track inspection.
Due to the abandonment of the final four races, additional races have been added to upcoming race meetings and are:
Pentland RC – Saturday, November 19, 2022
Mount Isa RC – Saturday, November 26, 2022
The Julia Creek Cup Open Handicap will now be added to the “Dirt & Dust Festival” race meeting to be conducted in April 2023.
