EXWHYGEETEE (4) is getting closer to the account opener and might just have found his chance here. Sent forward and revving up outside the leader, he was game in holding 2^nd behind SUBTLE CHAY. Runner-up to JADES DIAMOND three starts back, he will go searching for the fence.

BOUNTYHUNTER (3) has returned this campaign in good order, finishing with the silver at his past two starts, the latest when setting the speed but unable to repel the closing challenge of GOTTALUVASUNDAYSESH. Releasing when resuming two back, he looms as the challenger.

PAYOUT (1) will be on the two-day back-up after competing here on Wednesday night as he searches for what is proving the elusive maiden breaker. The gate is a vital asset.

BOOM BOOM BOY (7) was exposed until receiving cover last start and then could not go with the breakaway group to finish midfield. From the poles he can be thereabouts to chime into an exotic.

ELPINE SALLY (2) was runner-up here three starts back when forced to sit parked after being repelled for the lamp lighting duties. Following that with an all the way win over this trip, she was asked to work too hard last start from the second line. From this alley, she has her chance to dictate.

OFFICE BAD BOY (9) has a tricky gate to negotiate here and will be relying on some factors in his favour through the run. Hitting the line in smart order for the bronze here three back when only a neck from the winner, it followed a half-head margin. Despite the gate he can challenge in this.

HANDSOME HARRY (5) burrowed through from gate 1 over the AP mile last start where he looked to take them all the way but came up short when 5m in arrears of the winner. He can be chiming in.

ROCCO VARIETY (5) forced the issue from gate 4 at Marburg last start to take control and from the front was able to claim a 2m winning margin. Taken back from this gate two starts back and chasing home wide off the track, he can light the fuse early to look for the front and the options thereafter.

CANONLYBEONESIR (1) takes his first look at The Triangle for NSW trainer Troy Williams. Collared when trying to lead throughout from gate 1 at Penrith four back, he will need some hustle off the arm.

RISKY BUZINESS (9) made the most of a front-line gate at Marburg last start to charge out, take control and pull clear to a 10m margin. The second line changes the dynamic, but he can chime in.

RACE FOUR

FAVREAU (8) was taken back off the arm last start over the AP mile and from a rearward fence spot, never warmed up as BLUE SHARD took the win. Runner-up from the pocket trail here two starts back, he can press through at the start to find position to stake his closing claim.

IM LOKI (2) faced a second line gate on this deck last start where he was trying to make a closing raid wide off the track, finishing 7m from the winner JANG PEL. Better suited when rolling near the speed, a return to the front line is a big plus and with a handy record here can issue a challenge.

EAGLES RESPONSE (1) was a winner here two starts back when eased early from gate 6 before owning superior closing speed to descend on them over the final stages. The gate is an asset.

ALLSTAR SEA (5) might find this a shade easier than recent outings, his latest when down the line behind STUDLEIGH MARK. Making some nice metres two starts back, he is in the mix in this line up.

RACE FIVE

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (7) was wide off the track at Marburg last start when trying to reel them in and finishing 7m from the winner. Too far back two starts back when trying to make a closing play, he looks set for an economical trip and if the gaps open and he has momentum, he can strike.

DIEGO DELGADO (1) tackled the AP mile two starts back from gate 1 where he tried to hold them up but had to settle for the trail when midfield to BRAEVIEW FELLA. Buried from inside the second line here last time, he can burrow through and holding them out can throw down a challenge.

VERMONT (4) is in top form, finishing top-two at her past five in succession. Finishing best to take an 8m margin last start, it followed a half-head margin and despite a sticky gate she is right in the fight.

BELLA GODIVA (2) started from outside the second line last start and never got warm in the closing stages to finish rearward as VERMONT arrived. A winner in successive starts prior, the gate is a big plus.

MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE (9) returns from an NSW campaign where he claimed a win and a minor in 4 attempts at Penrith. Making the most of gate 1 to lead all the way two starts back at the 1720m trip, he lands a tricky gate here but in a race that looks to generate tempo, he can descend on them late.

NEVADA YANKEE (4) was a winner here three starts back when sent to the front from gate 3 and dictating the pace was able to pull clear for a 7m margin. Fading as the fav at his next appearance, he grabbed 3^rd last start behind THE WEEKEND. Positioning cheaply will be key to his challenge.

FOUR FOR FOUR (3) was obliged to sit parked last start and after the tough trip faded to a midfield result. Placed her previous three in succession, she can be handy enough to feature.

CHARLEVOIX (2) has placed at his past two starts, the latest when sitting parked and grafting it out for 2^nd behind ASHLEE NITRO. Close to the speed from this alley, he can be in the mix.

ASHLEE NITRO (1) darted across from gate 3 last start to take control and from the front took them all the way to score a career PB rate with the victory. Powering home over the top from the second line to score here two back, she has both the options and the keys to the chances of the challengers.

HIGH ON MONTANA (8) was a winner here three starts back when starting from gate 9 and finishing over the top of them in the closing stages to take a half-head victory. Chiming in for the bronze from gate 9 last start, he can secure the right early trail to make a late challenge.

MY ULTIMATE CLIPPA (2) is amid a career peak, with his past 8 starts returning 4 wins and 3 2^nd placings. 2 of his past 3 have been all the way victories and he will throw some early heat here.

CHEDDAR MADE BETA (7) released from gate 1 at Marburg last start and was probing for gaps when 3^rd to SAILALONG SINBAD. With the economical peg trip, he can be searching for openings to offer.

SMOOTH CASH (4) was back in winning form last start when pouncing on the lead from gate 2 at the 1780m and from there was never in danger. Finishing them off with a tidy closing 800m, he is a gazelle off the arm when asked, the only query to his winning hopes is his record at the middle trip.

OVERTHEMOON (1) was sent forward from gate 5 at Tamworth two starts back to take control and was fighting deep into the stretch when 2m from the winner. Forced to work in the run at Newcastle last start, he can burrow through early and be in the right position to issue a challenge.

FLO RYDA (9) was sent forward from gate 5 last start and working hard in the run held on for the bronze behind COURAGEOUS SAM. Hitting the line smartly two starts back, he can chime in.

SO AM I (8) finished down the line in two NSW appearances and gets back on a track where he has only had one previous start. He has been meeting tougher opposition, but the gate dents the hopes.

ONE LAST ROLL (2) worked forward from gate 5 last start to take control and was able to see it out over the 2040m trip. Only 4m from RYANS GANGSTER in a qualifier two starts back from inside the second line, he lands the improved gate and can look to take them all the way.

JUST JOSHIN (8) powered home over the top in a similar race here four starts back after a slick tempo was being set out in front. Just a head away at his next appearance, he grabbed 3^rd in a tougher race last start and with the right trail, will be in position to throw down a challenge.

IDEAL TIGER (3) tried to hold them out at Marburg last start but had to settle for the trail when crossed. Taking 2^nd behind LUXURY LAD, he can tuck in behind the tempo here to make a late play.

MUMMYS BOY (7) capitalised with his early speed two starts back when taking control and seeing it out with a narrow win. Grabbed in the closing strides last start, he will be probing for the openings.
