Races 5-12 were abandoned at the Rockhampton greyhound meeting on Wednesday, February 1, due to wet weather.
As per the Abandoned Race Meetings Policy, trainers will receive $80 compensation per greyhound plus the starters fee in the abandoned races.
The Rockhampton Young Guns Heats (407m) will be rescheduled on Wednesday, February 8, with a new box draw. Trainers must re-nominate for the heats. Greyhounds engaged to race in the heats on February 1 will be given first preference for the rescheduled heats on February 8.
Nominations close Friday, February 3, at 9am.
