Racing Queensland advises that the Townsville greyhound meeting for Tuesday February 14 has been abandoned due to the lure not being operational.
The meeting for Townsville Friday February 17 is expected to proceed and nominations close tomorrow at 9am.
The heats of the Townsville QGOLD Open (498m) will now be on Tuesday February 21. New fields will be drawn and trainers are required to re-nominate. Greyhounds that were drawn in the original heats on February 14 will have preference over new entries. The final will be on Tuesday February 28.
The Townsville Young Guns heats (498m) have been transferred to Tuesday March 7 with the final on Tuesday March 14. The event is open to greyhounds whelped on or after 28/08/2020.
