The Innisfail TC non-Tab race meeting scheduled for Saturday May 13 has been abandoned due to weather and state of the track.
Approximately 40mm of rain has been recorded at Pease Park racecourse since Thursday morning.
A Friday afternoon track inspection revealed water on the surface at both the 1300m and 400m and with further rain forecast for Saturday, is unlikely to dry out sufficiently to be suitable for racing.
Due to the abandonment, additional races have been added to upcoming race programs in the Far North region. They are:

INNISFAIL TC – SATURDAY MAY 27
Class 1 Hcp (QTIS) 900m $10,000
