RACE ONE

TE QUIRO (1) was a winner from the fence in running here three starts back and followed that when unsuited at Marburg from a wide gate. With the perfect trip in behind the action, she can make the closing shot a wining one.

THERESACHANCE (2) made an error last start that ended his chances. Sent back to the trials where he was much sharper, he can fire off the arm here and form the front look to issue the challenge.

JUST JOSHIN (7) has been without a win for some time but maps for a soft trip here. Midfield last start behind ROLL ONE OVER, he can chime in for some minor money.

CHARM OFFENSIVE (4) started at big odds here last start and was luckless in the run when finishing 7m from MY ULTIMATE VICTOR. From an awkward gate she is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: TE QUIRO (1), THERESACHANCE (2), JUST JOSHIN (7), CHARM OFFENSIVE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-7

RACE THREE

MAKE MINE JOE (8)
faced gate 6 over the AP mile last start where he was snagged off the arm to settle rearward before making some nice metres int eh closing stages behind HASTY BID. His record is nothing to brag about here on The Triangle, but in this line up he can capitalise.

JAKKI MUN (9) was snagged off the arm last start from gate 5 and picked off a few over the closing stages as TULHURST CUDDLES claimed the prize. With the right cart home, he finds the right race to issue a challenge.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (4) faced the outside second line last start and was making some nice metres when grabbing the bronze. With a string of bad gates next to his name, he can feature from the 4.

SCHOOBY (2) was sent forward from gate 6 last start and taking control was able to see it out from the front with 8m to spare. Settling up near the action again can see him right in the thick of it.

SELECTIONS: MAKE MINE JOE (8), JAKKI MUN (9), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (4), SCHOOBY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MAKE MINE JOE (8) to win

RACE FOUR

RISKY BUZINESS (1) loves to play his own tune out in front and lands the gate here to capitalise. A winner from the 1x1 trail over this trip two starts back, his next two were from unsuitable alleys. Back to the ace he can chase down his 33rd career victory.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (9) was forced to work too hard last start where she faded as a result. At her best when able to get to the front, the gate makes it a tougher ask here but in this line up with the right trip she is up to the challenge.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (3) fired out from gate 6 last start and from the front was able to take them all the way. From an improved alley, she can feature.

SPELLMAKERS CHARM (7) is a 2YO giving away plenty of experience here. Opening her account with victory last start in a 2YO maiden, a soft peg trip here will helps her chances.

SELECTIONS: RISKY BUZINESS (1), MAFFIOSO GIRL (9), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (3), SPELLMAKERS CHARM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: RISKY BUZINESS (1),

RACE FIVE

RABY BAY (1)
was first up in Qld last start where he was strong to the line from outside the second line. Runner-up to JAMES CAGNEY who contested last night’s 4YO Championship three runs back at Tamworth, he gest his chance from the gate to cash in.

OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (4) is a 4YO mare that arrives in Aus for Mark Rees, arriving from the North Island of NZ with five minors and one win from 11 starts. With a tidy trial on this track in readiness, she strikes a winnable race first up.

BLISSFULDAY (7) will have some more fitness under the girth after three runs back from 12 months off the scene. With another cosy trip he can chase a podium return.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (5) was a winner from gate 4 here two runs back after darting across to find the front before releasing for the trail. The gate makes it a tough ask.

SELECTIONS: RABY BAY (1), OUR FIRE AND DELIGHT (4), BLISSFULDAY (7), BEEF CITY BLAZE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: RABY BAY (1) to win

RACE SIX

KALYPSO SAM (4)
will be first up in Qld after being sent North to the boutique Mark Rees operation. With his recent form in the Western Districts of NSW, he chased home BILL SHANNON last start and finds the ideal contest first up to start with the W.

PRECIOUS CULLEN (3) was asked to sit parked last start and kept plugging to the line in a sluggish closing panel when 5m from the winner. Runner-up to TULHURST CUDDLES three runs back, he can look for early supremacy to stake his claim.

DONNY JONES (9) was runner-up along the passing lane here two starts back behind SHADYS DELIGHT before hitting the line in nice order last time out. Look for him closing hard again here.

TRUE GRIT SHADOW (8) eased from gate 6 last start to find the poles and did not really get warm over the closing stages. Tightened from that run, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: PRECIOUS CULLEN (3), KALYPSO SAM (4), DONNY JONES (9), TRUE GRIT SHADOW (8)
SUGGESTED BET:  KALYPSO SAM (4) to win

RACE SEVEN

CHASIN DREAMZ (6)
was aa winner here three starts back when fired off the arm to take control and from the front was able to take them all the way. Sent was down the line when resuming from the second line and then improved last start. Despite the wide gate, she can capitalise third up.

THREE MACHS (4) resumed from a spell last start from the second line where he was strong to the line when runner-up to SCHOOBY. Taking benefit from that run, she finds a wide-open contest here and with even luck in transit can make a play for the prize.

MELTON XMAS GIRL (5) has no favours from the wider gate but should find the opposition more within reach. A winner here three back when pulling clear for a big margin, she is in the mix.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (8) grabbed the bronze last start when working home wide off the track from the second line. A similar effort can yield a similar return.

SELECTIONS: CHASIN DREAMZ (6), THREE MACHS (4), MELTON XMAS GIRL (5), FORTYFIVE ROCK (8)
SUGGESTED BET: CHASIN DREAMZ (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

THE HARRIS HAWK (9)
is chasing what seems an elusive win this season, but he might just have found the conditions for the breakthrough. Rolling across from gate 5 last start to find running line cover, he came up a neck short of victory. This looks his chance for the 2023 account opener.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (7) was snagged back from gate 4 last start and settled at the rear did not really get warm in the closing stages. With the chance of a soft trip in behind the speed from this gate, he can be ready to take his shot when the gap presents.

BULLDOG BRAWLER (5) was wide off the track over the latter stages from this gate last time out when finishing midfield. Placed in both prior appearances, he can chime in again here.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) has good arm hustle and lands the gate to be prominent. If he can avoid overcooking it early, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: THE HARRIS HAWK (9), DOOLITTLE DANDY (7), BULLDOG BRAWLER (5), WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THE HARRIS HAWK (9) to win

RACE NINE

SWINGING GEORGE (8)
steps out for the new stable after a last start 7th where he did not get warm as RISKY BUZINESS took the prize. A tough trip two starts back put the race out of reach and with the right run here gets his chance to capitalise.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (5) was a Marburg winner four runs back when finding some inside gaps and making full use of the opportunity to arrive. Down the line in each of his three starts since, he will be on the back up from the Gatton Show on Friday and can cash in here.

MAN OF ACTION (9) is another on the back up from Gatton with his last appearance here when buried along the inside from gate 7. With the right trip he can be chiming in.

GHOST TRAIN (6) was strong to the line last start when 5m from the winner LORD DENZEL in holding on for the bronze. Not too far from RISKY BUZINESS two back, he can feature here.

SELECTIONS: SWINGING GEORGE (8), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (5), MAN OF ACTION (9), GHOST TRAIN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SWINGING GEORGE (8) to win

RACE TEN

CANNAN (2) struck trouble last start which ended his chances, yet he was still only just out of the money. Runner-up in successive appearances, he has the gate to settle up on the engine here and can look to make the most of his chances.

MISS PAU (5) eased from gate 5 last time out and from deep field over the 2040 did not make much impression. Looking to see it out in front here two starts back when holding 3rd, she strikes the right race to issue a challenge.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (9) struck trouble from this same gate last start and was put out of play. Trying to make late metres when finishing near the rear two back, she can feature in this line up.

AROONA (1) faded last start after setting the tempo and was banished to the trials. Earning the return with a sound effort, he can follow the speed here to chime in down the stretch.

SELECTIONS: CANNAN (2), MISS PAU (5), TORQUE IN CONTROL (9), AROONA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: CANNAN (2) to win
