Trying to make a late raid when finishing midfield behind WESTERN SHOWGIRL, he can press through in the early stages from this gate to find the right position to take his shot. PRETTY GOOD REASON (4) was having her first look at the 2040 trip last start when sent to the front and attempting to take them all the way. Fading in the closing stages in holding on for the silver, it followed a second up effort when 4m from BERTILS FIREFOX. She can fir some early bullets here. PURPLE SHADES (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was looming strongly down the stretch in finishing a half-head from the winner. A winner here three back, he can be close enough to join in. ROLLONX (1) fired out last start to look for a dictating victory when grabbed in the concluding stages. With the benefit of the inside gate, he has podium claims. RACE TWO OYSTER STRIDE (2) made the most of gate 1 last start when burrowing through to keep them wide and from the front was able to take them all the way. With the gate to be again up near the action, he can look to take control and fight them off again. HEZ ON THE BUZZER (7) will take benefit from his last start when resuming from a spell. Starting from this same alley, he was snookered in the run when trying to eat into the margin with a midfield finish. Needing a slice of luck in his favour, he will be probing for openings to challenge. SUBSTITOOTH (4) has been beaten near identical margins at his past two starts when chasing home behind FLO RYDA and then SISTA BLISS in those two outings. He can be thereabouts once again. ONLYSBEST (1) resumes from a spell after a luckless outing last start back in February. With a sound trial in preparation for the return, he has the early options to be in the mix. RACE THREE DEVOUGED (5) was snagged back off the gate from the six alley last start and from deep field never really warmed up as MIGHTY GEORGE to the W. Throwing down a big challenge here three starts back when sent forward from grafting it out first over, he came up a blister short. He is up to this. BERTILS FIREFOX (2) faced the outside second line over this trip last start and was not aided when breaking a spreader but was still able to hold on for the bronze. A return to the front line is in his favour and in good touch since resuming, he can look to throw it down again here. MAGICOL IDEAL (7) secured the 1x1 trail over the AP mile last start and closed it out for the bronze behind TOUCH OF TERROR. With the soft trip from this gate, he will be searching for gaps. DONNY JONES (4) rolled forward to sit parked last time out from gate 3 at the 1780 and after the tough trip was still giving in finishing under 3m from the winner. He can get forward to feature. RACE FOUR
FULLOFIT (4) rolled forward to sit parked over the sprint trip last start and after the tough trip was still gripping on to hold 3rd. Tackling the subsequent winner ILLAVABUBBLES when down the line two starts back, she lands a tricky gate over this trip, but looks up to the task. SUNRISE RUBY (7) eased from gate 4 last start to settle back in the pack and was trying to make late metres but never really warmed up last time out. Tackling a much stronger contest over the AP middle trip two starts back, she will be probing for the openings to make a play here. MONTEREY JACK (8) was sent forward from outside the front line to sit parked here two starts back and despite a tough trip was still giving on the wire. Only 4m away last time, he is right in the fight. GRIGORA (5) has placed at his past two starts and with limited exposure at the middle trip, can boast a win in one of his four outings at the ten furlongs. Runner-up last start, he can chime in. RACE FIVE RIVERINA FLASH (8) was a winner from this same gate four starts back when descending on them in the closing stages to take a 5m margin. Placed at each of his next two starts from wide gates, he was closing out in nice order from deep field here last time. With the right trail, he can arrive. CALL ME TRISH (2) secured the ideal run last time out when following the speed from inside the second line and when the gap presented, she darted through to take a 3m margin. Strong to the line in the closing stages the start prior, she can settle handy to the action to throw it down here. LOVIN MISS DIXIE (4) has struggled to show her best this season, the latest when finishing midfield behind BERTILS FIREFOX. Finding the right trail from this gate, she might just be ready to improve. ALTANA BLUE (6) finished midfield last start when chasing home over the AP mile behind FANTASY BLASTER. Placed all three previous outings, the wide gate makes it a tough ask here. RACE SIX TELL ME THIS (4) was sent around the field from outside the second line last time out and forced to do it the tough way first over, faded in the stretch to be out of the money. Buried from inside the second line two starts back, he can get the right trip here to stake his claim. VALLANI MAGIC (7) faced the outside front line last start and was snagged off the arm to settle rearward before making strong metres in the closing stages to grab the bronze. The outside gate made the task too hard the start prior and with the trailing draw here, she can stalk the speed. OUR DOLLY (1) was a winner over the 2040 here four runs back when pressing forward from outside the front line to take control and pull clear to a big victory. Unable to replicate it at her past three, the gate is a big plus. WHATA REACTOR (5) tried to see it out from the front last start over this trip but faded in the closing stages to finish near the rear. Runner-up two starts back, she can get forward to feature. RACE SEVEN JIMMY JOYCE (1) makes his Qld debut after five NSW starts as a 2YO last season in search of the account opener. Last seen back in December, he has trialled twice in readiness for the first Qld outing, the second trial suggesting that from this gate he is up to the task. SOMEONES WATCHING (3) fired across from gate 2 last start to set the tempo and from the front was worried out of it in the closing stages by SKYBEAU. A tough 2nd three starts back when parked, he can get handy from this gate to issue a challenge. FEISTYNFEARLESS (2) is a 3YO son of Hurrikane Kingcole making his debut for Grant Dixon. Qualifying as a 2YO in April last year, he was put away and finds the right maiden here first up. TAKE COURAGE (4) is finding a victory elusive, the 2YO filly lining up here for the 20th start this season in chasing the maiden breaker. Striking trouble last start, she has podium claims. RACE EIGHT TACKAS LAST DANCE (1) should appreciate an improved gate after facing the outside front line or a second line gate at her past four in succession. Just out of the money last start behind BEEF CITY STARZZZ, she can get the perfect trip here to capitalise. THE CROM (5) settled in the 1x1 trail here last start and possessed the best closing speed to descend on them and claim a 4m margin. Placed in both prior starts, the gate stings but with limited arm hustle, he can float back and look to rattle late. CANNAN (2) was beaten by gate 6 last start when holding on to finish midfield from outside the front line. Not suited when asked to sit parked two starts back, he has the alley to feature. TORQUE IN CONTROL (9) was runner-up here two starts back when eased off the poles after starting from inside the second line. Strong to the line three starts back, she can be chiming in here. RACE NINE SHE DAZZLES (1) looks to have found the ideal conditions from this gate to chase down her second win of the season. Eased from gate 3 last start to settle back in the pack as the fav, she held on for the bronze behind ASCOT ANNIE. With all the options, this looks well within reach. DONT FEAR FOR ME (5) burrowed through from gate 1 last start to set the tempo and from the front was trying to see it out. Grabbed in the stretch by ASCOT ANNIE, he was able to hold on for the silver, finishing 6m astern of the winner. Close the start prior from this gate, he can throw it down. NIGHT SHADOW (8) will take benefit from his latest outing when second up from a spell. Having his first Redcliffe appearance when asked to hang tough first over, he can trail through here to feature. SHESHERZ (7) did some early work before receiving cover here two starts back when fighting hard for the silver behind GIDUP CAPTAIN. With the chance of an economical trip, she can chime in. RACE TEN SAVING MAJOR PERCY (1) was obliged to do it the tough way last start after being left exposed over the sprint trip and fading after the tough run. Strong to the line from a wide gate here two starts back behind FLO RYDA, he snares the options from this gate to take his shot. STOMPEM (7) was buried from inside the second line last start and was trying to find open space when 5m from the winner MUCH BETTOR. Placed in all three previous starts, including a neck deficit to CATSEYE BEACH, he has the second line options to issue the challenge. GLENLEDI COMMANDER (2) was a Marburg winner from the second line three starts back and has placed in both runs since. Fighting to hold 3rd after setting the tempo last start, he is in the mix. LITTLE CHANGE (6) eased to the inside from outside the second line last start and using inside runs was 1m from the winner. Descending on them to take the prize two starts back, he has claims here.
