RACE ONE
Just the small field of square gaiters to open the card where MY ULTIMATE EDDIE (3) looks much better suited from 10m after facing 30m in the McNeil Series. Returning from a spell here last week, GET USED TO IT (8) was safely away from the 10m tape and was able to find the front before releasing when the pressure came. Eased into space, he was in his own league when pulling clear to a 40m margin. With added fitness, he can repeat. KYVALLEY ARCHER (3) is a newcomer to Qld that joins the Tess Neaves team. A last start Terang winner when sprinting smartly once finding open space, he tackles the standing start for the first time, but from the front tape, finds the right conditions to challenge fresh. SHEZ ALL STYLE (9) found the ideal conditions here last start and pressing through from the second line was able to outstay them from the chair to claim a 3m margin. TOBEFAIRTOYOU (9) resumes from a let up after her last appearance at Menangle when down the line behind MONTEFIORE. BIG BOZZ (11) was second up from a spell last start when settling back in the pack from a second line gate and then using inside runs for 3rd. His first look at the 2138 is the query. FIRESTORM RED (7) is afforded no favours from the outside gate but his three efforts since arriving in Qld have been full of merit. Best of the chasing pack behind SEND IT last start, he was just behind the placings the start prior. He can defy the gate to throw down the challenge. ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (6) will take good benefit from his latest appearance when resuming from a spell to tackle this grade for the first time. Holding 3rd, he can be thereabouts again. TAIRLAW TOLL (8) was first up from a break last start when back in the pack and never a factor as SEND IT arrived. With a nice trial since that win, he will be searching for openings.
