The Sunshine Coast Turf Club race meeting today at Corbould Park has been abandoned after Race 2.
The decision was made by QRIC Stewards following consultation with participating riders who considered the track was unsafe to continue racing on after further inclement weather today.
Racing Queensland will, following the abandonment, consider replacement programming opportunities within SEQ in the next week.
Compensation will also be applicable under the auspices of the RQ Abandoned Race Meeting Policy.
