Racing Queensland advises that the Cairns Jockey Club race meeting scheduled for Monday, March 25, has been abandoned.
The decision has been made following a continued deluge of rain in the area (including >340mm in the last week) and after a QRIC track inspection this morning.
RQ will now consider the potential for alternative programming opportunities in the region over the next 7-10 days.
