Racing Queensland confirms that the meeting at the Rockhampton Jockey Club for today, Saturday, April 6, has been postponed due to the state of the track.
The decision was made after a track inspection this morning and following heavy rainfall in the region over the last 24 hours.
RQ is working with club management to consider possible contingency for the race meeting including the potential rescheduling of its flagship Capricornia Sales Races.
Participants have advised of the postponement by SMS.
