The Bundaberg Race Club non-TAB race meeting scheduled for Saturday, May 4 has been abandoned due to the state of the track.
Rain on Thursday night was followed by further rain on Friday making the track unsuitable for racing. Consideration was given to postponing the meeting to Sunday, but logistically this could not be achieved.
Due to the abandonment, the Battle of the Bush Qualifier Open Hcp that was on the program, has been rescheduled to be conducted at the Esk Jockey Club meeting on Saturday, May 18.
Nominations for this meeting close at 11am on Tuesday, May 14.
