Racing Queensland advises that the Cairns Jockey Club race meeting this Thursday, May 16 has been abandoned due to weather and state of the track.
Any horse that was accepted for this meeting can nominate and accept for Townsville this Friday.
Nominations and acceptances for this meeting have been delayed until 11am today.
