RACE ONE

Performing perhaps a little better than his numbers suggest, NURBURGRING (2) secures the gate to get handy to the action. Exposed early before receiving cover last start when chasing home behind SAINT VERAN, he finds the right set up here to capitalise.

REGULUS (1) receives the mapping favours here to secure the right trip in behind the speed and be a factor in the stretch. Beaten by some unsuitable gates in recent starts, the latest when drawn outside the front line, he gets the chance to bounce back into the money.

THREE RIVERS (8) eased from gate 5 for position last start and buried away on the poles was then unable to get into the contest late. Locked away again here, he will be probing.

OBI ONE (10) could have been closer than the 4m deficit that he ran into last start when chasing from back in the pack behind SAINT VERAN. In an open run for the minors, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: NURBURGRING (2), REGULUS (1), THREE RIVERS (8), OBI ONE (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

Showing the speed out of the machine to burn across AARDIES FLASH (11) kept TURN IT UP wide and with a burn, eventually relented for the trail. Fading in the closing stages, it followed a 3rd behind WISPE A SECRET with that form since franked again. He can bounce back.

OK BOOMER (6) was sent to the post as fav last start from inside the second line and it soon turned into a horror gate when shuffled to four back in the run as WISPER A SECRET carved it out in front. Strong to the line the start prior, he looms large to throw down the challenge.

WINDY HILL WALLY (1) has been sectionally strong in recent starts without having any favours go his way. With the chance to be tucked away and not spending a penny, he can grab a minor.

BRAEDOS LAD (9) used the passing lane to grab the silver behind WISPER A SECRET here two starts back and then sat parked from gate 6 behind the same winner. He can join in here.

SELECTIONS: AARDIES FLASH (11), OK BOOMER (6), WINDY HILL WALLY (1), BRAEDOS LAD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: AARDIES FLASH (11) to win

RACE THREE

These open mare’s races have provided some good racing in recent weeks and this shapes as another good battle. ORCHID STRIDE (7) is afforded no favours from this gate but was able to overcome the outside second line last start when sent forward. She can be stoked up again.

LADY DIGBY (1) sat off the speed here two starts back and when angled to the outside had the speed to arrive for the prize. Sectionally her efforts prior had been super and with the map to stalk the speed here, can be awaiting the gaps to throw it down.

MIGHT AS WELL (10) was chasing a hat-trick last time out when rattling late to grab the bronze behind ORCHID STRIDE. If she can secure the right cart home, she can be chiming in strongly.

MYRA DAWN (9) eased from gate 6 here last week and saved for one shot, had the speed to descend on them and claim the prize. A similar trip puts her right in contention.

SELECTIONS: ORCHID STRIDE (7), LADY DIGBY (1), MIGHT AS WELL (10), MYRA DAWN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ORCHID STRIDE (7) to win

RACE FOUR

A winner two starts back when finding space in the latter stages, DRIVE TO THE BEACH (3) attacked the line strongly on that occasion. Working hard in the run last week when 4m from ARKIN WICKED, he secures the chance to press forward and take his shot here.

ARKIN WICKED (9) has won two of his past three in the second division qualifiers and finds the right conditions to convert in the first division ranks here. Pressing to the front and fighting them off at the mile last time, he descended late over this trip three back and will challenge again.

LEITHEN BURN (2) held on for the bronze last week which followed a tidy effort when wide off the track. He has the gate to settle close enough to throw in a bid.

ROCKNPENNY (6) is given no favours from this gate but sectionally his efforts have been good enough in recent starts to keep him in contention for some minor action here.

SELECTIONS: DRIVE TO THE BEACH (3), ARKIN WICKED (9), LEITHEN BURN (2), ROCKNPENNY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DRIVE TO THE BEACH (3) to win

RACE FIVE

The map looks kind to the chances of IM DESIRABLE (1) repeating her effort of two starts back where she had the closing speed to descend wide off the track to score. Beaten by gate 7 last start but still finishing strongly when chasing GIRL FROM OZ, this looks well within reach.

INFINITY BEACH (2) hit the line strongly here on Tuesday to grab the silver after retreating in the early stages to secure position. Luckless here two starts back, a return to mares grade and with the speed to look for a forward position can see her throw down the challenge.

MADAM MAGGIE (8) should be securing the economical trip and be searching for the gaps in the stretch to take her shot at a podium finish.

VINDICATE (6) continues to be super consistent throughout the season and was attacking the line here last week to grab another 2nd. The gate stings but she can be finishing hard.

SELECTIONS: IM DESIRABLE (1), INFINITY BEACH (2), MADAM MAGGIE (8), VINDICATE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Resuming from a spell last start in a midweek event, FOR REAL LIFE (8) was sent around them in the middle stages to take control over the 2138. Gunned down in the stretch by SAINT VERAN, he should strip fitter from the run and will be waiting for the opening to take his shot.

TEDDY DISCO (1) has held on for the bronze at each of his past two starts when lining up behind the tapes. Beaten similar margins behind TURN IT UP and SEND IT in each of those two runs, there is a potential tactical decision to make here- look to lead and be stalked or release.

HAY THERE JOE (2) tried to see it out from the front here three starts back when holding form gate 1 but fading in the closing stages to miss the money. Wide his past two, he is a podium player here.

ALTA EQUUS (10) was a winner on the front end here two starts back when sent hard off the arm to dictate. Closing hard last start for the bronze behind SAINT VERAN, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: FOR REAL LIFE (8), TEDDY DISCO (1), HAY THERE JOE (2), ALTA EQUUS (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-8 / 1-8 / 2-4-9-10

RACE SEVEN

Developing a slick record since arriving with the Turpin stable, THE JANITOR (3) has won three of his five appearances. Striking trouble in the run last start, he attacked the line to get within a head of the winner. Chargin home off speed to score two back, positioning cheaply will be key to his winning chances.

SHES FULLOFSPIRIT (1) returns from a NSW Oaks campaign where she was able to progress to the final but stung by a wide gate in chasing the super filly VERY PRETTY. Still closing it out in nice order to finish midfield, from this alley, she can be stalking the speed, ready to strike.

SHEER ARTISTRY (5) was a winner four starts back when charging home wide off the track after being faced with gate 7. Runner-up in all three since, she will be finishing hard again here.

MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (6) makes his first appearance for the new stable, joining the Doug Hewitt barn, having never missed a cheque in 10 starts. With a sound trial to prepare, he is a podium player fresh.

SELECTIONS: THE JANITOR (3), SHES FULLOFSPIRIT (1), SHEER ARTISTRY (5), MY ULTIMATE BUDDHA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

After two runs back from a spell, CHEER LEADER (4) looks to have found the right race with the added fitness to get her latest campaign under winning ways. Losing momentum last start right as CONGO LINE was full of momentum and pulling away, a return to her own sex is a huge plus.

SKY BLU (2) returns to the Jason Carkeet stable to kick off her 4YO term after finishing last season with seven successive placings, including a 3rd in the NSW G1 Breeders Challenge. With the benefit of the gate, and a pipe opener at the trials, she can challenge fresh.

INTO THE MYSTIC (9) has five wins here at The Creek, with all five wins coming when spearing out to lead them up. She will be chasing here and stays under consideration.

MAHINDI (10) was a winner when finishing best here three starts back and has placed in both runs since. Despite another tough gate, she can be finishing strongly in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: CHEER LEADER (4), SKY BLU (2), INTO THE MYSTIC (9), MAHINDI (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

BELLA BRONKSI (3)
was asked to sit parked here two starts back and was in for the fight when grinding out the silver. Back to Tamworth last start when midfield from a second line gate, she can get off the arm here to press forward and stake a claim for victory.

LONDON LADY (1) has been in super form on The Triangle and will attempt to bring that form to town. Completing a hat-trick of wins last start, she took them all the way in handy time and snares the ideal gate to chase down another victory.

SII SEMPRE TILLY (10) was trying to make a late play at Redcliffe last start when midfield behind LONDON LADY. With more space to get into the contest, she can be thereabouts.

AURORA JOY (8) will need a slice of luck at some point from this gate to find the space as she looks at risk of being buried. Searching for gaps when snookered last start, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: BELLA BRONKSI (3), LONDON LADY (1), SII SEMPRE TILLY (10), AURORA JOY (8)
SUGGESTED BET: BELLA BRONKSI (3) to win

RACE TEN

Faced with the outside front line last start from behind the start car, GUS (5) was eased early before making a move at the 1100, moving up three wide and then sitting parked. Pulling clear in the closing stages to claim a strong win, he should strip fitter from that run and can go again.

ADELLE (11) was asked to sit parked last start, working to the front with a lap to travel, but unable to see them off, swamped late to be 6m from the winner. That winner she gives 20m to here, but she will be in for the challenge.

TOP OF THE MOMENT (2) was able to overcome the 40m tape here two starts back when reeling them in and then weaving a passage to score. Under 3m from GUS last time, he is right in this.

COCHY MALC (3) has now had three runs back from a spell, the latest when fired off the arm from gate 4 to set the speed over the mobile 2138. Just 1m from the winner, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: GUS (5), ADELLE (11), TOP OF THE MOMENT (2), COCHY MALC (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GUS (5) to win
