Form Analysis by Oli Cownie

Race 1

In a tricky contest over the 2040 Drive To The Beach (8) will likely secure a soft trip, racing without luck in his last start fifth.

Despondent (5) has recently begun to show some of his better form, scoring two runs back when breezing over the mile. The wide draw makes things tricky for him here.

Merge Right (3) was tucked away on the pegs last time out, draws favourably and comes into this race third up from a spell.

Captain Nemo (9) has been freshened up since his last start eighth at Albion Park, this looks easier and he has won at the track previously.

Selections: Drive To The Beach (8), Despondent (5), Merge Right (3), Captain Nemo (9)
Suggested Bet: Captain Nemo (9) each way

Race 2

Last start winner over the 2040 Luxury Lad (2) can look to find his favourite position out in front again in this race and looks like he will take beating.

Offyarocker Crocker (1) has been in consistent form without winning, looks to get a comfortable run in behind them here.

Hes Sweet (7) is likely to secure a soft trip behind the speed, can improve on his last start fourth as short price favourite.

My Ultimate Victor (4) has been racing in good style, has gate speed to put himself in a prominent position.

Selections: Luxury Lad (2), Offyarocker Crocker (1), Hes Sweet (7), My Ultimate Victor (4)
Suggested Bet: Luxury Lad (2) win

Race 3

Risk Taker (1) made the running last time out after repelling an early challenge for the lead, was run down late by Harry Kane. Can look to go one better here.

Prince Joy (3) runner up last time out under similar conditions from gate 2, moves one spot further out here and can look to finish off strong again.

Kerbang (5) closed strongly last start when racing off the speed, from the wide gate here will look to do similar again.

Lord Memnock (8) comes out of the Redcliffe Yearling Sale Series Heat and Final which was won by Ellis Street, this looks a lot more suitable.

Selections: Risk Taker (1), Prince Joy (3), Kerbang (5), Lord Memnock (8)
Suggested Bet: Risk Taker (1) win

Race 4

Pretty Little Liar (3) recently trialled behind Aardie B Miki, was beaten a long way there but it was still a good trial and should be fitter here two weeks later.

Illbewatching (8) is a consistent gelding that rarely puts in a bad run, he was drawn outside of the back row last start and was doing his best work in the concluding stages.

Deecee Rockin (2) last start runner up behind Modern Sheen who was a clear second favourite in the Redcliffe Oaks Consolation. Draws to do no work in gate 2 and can figure in the finish.

Mega Star (1) returns from a break and holds the key to the speed map, previously when drawn a low gate lead all the way first up over the 2040 trip.

Selections: Pretty Little Liar (3), Illbewatching (8), Deecee Rockin (2), Mega Star (1)
Suggested Bet: Illbewatching (8) each way

Race 5

Misstrepo (8) draws behind a horse with good gate speed, she was running on last start when the race was all over.

Flo Ryda (6) it’s been a long time since this horse put in a poor run, close up behind Call Me Keith last start appears good form for this race despite the poor draw he can be thereabouts again.

A Perfect Dance (7) will be relying heavily on luck in running in this race drawing inside the back row, but he was an eye catching effort running into second last start from off the pace.

Maywyn Troubadour (9) returns from an enforced 7 day break, he’d been racing consistently and can finish off well here.

Selections: Misstrepo (8), Flo Ryda (6), A Perfect Dance (7), Maywyn Troubador (9)
Suggested Bet: A Perfect Dance (7) each way

Race 6

Gosling In Flight (1) drew poorly last start and found himself towards the rear in running, was doing his best work late. Generally races well when able to find the front.

Connies Spirit (8) rarely puts in a poor run this horse, draws to do no work and can finish off strongly again.

Doolittle Doozzie (7) if she is able to drive through and hold the back of the likely leader she can figure in the finish.

Isla And Addie (3) winner of her last two starts, this looks significantly harder and may not set up as well as those races but she is in good form and should be kept safe.

Gosling In Flight (1), Connies Spirit (8), Doolittle Doozzie (7), Isla And Addie (3)
Suggested Bet: Gosling In Flight (1) win

Race 7

My Ultimate Cossie (5) driven aggressively two runs ago to find the front, ran well there behind a few horses which have shown promise.

Scores (9) showed gate speed and held the front last start before tiring late over the 2040. Looks to gain a much softer trip here and crucially steps back to the 1780.

Dream Melody (7) from a poor gate got back in the race and never figured in a race they ran home slick time for the grade, can gain a soft trip up on the speed here and is a likely improver.

Financial Burden (8) two seconds and a fourth in his last three runs he’s been closing in on a win. Draws to do no work early and can be thereabouts late.

Selections: My Ultimate Cossie (5), Scores (9), Dream Melody (7), Financial Burden (8)
Suggested Bet: Dream Melody (7) each way

Race 8

Doolittle Dexter (6) a horse with good gate speed, used it to find a prominent position last time before finishing off over the top. A similar effort should see him hard to beat again.

Blissfull Identity (8) strong third placing two back when working in the run, could only manage fourth last start in a race dominated by the peg line.

Lovin Miss Dixie (3) showed gate speed early and was able to find the fence first before handing over in a stronger race. Can look to push forward again early here and has options from there.

Holme Boy (9) a recent addition toJonah Hutchinson’s stable scored first up and has since run well twice. A step back to the 1780 looks suitable.

Selections: Doolittle Dexter (6), Blissfull Identity (8), Lovin Miss Dixie (3), Holme Boy (9)
Suggested Bet: Lovin Miss Dixie (3) each way

Race 9

Hoiho (2) impressive winner two runs ago, despite over racing badly was able to hold on to win over the 2040. Didn’t

Tackas Last Dance (8) racing very consistently of late closing strongly in recent run, looks another race he can run on into the finish in.

Our Dolly (1) found herself parked out over the 2040 last start, a step back to the 1780 looks suitable.

Dixiedoolittle (9) was a disappointing fourth after starting a short priced favourite last start from this same draw, can figure

Selections: Hoiho (2), Tackas Last Dance (8), Our Dolly (1), Dixiedoolittle (9)
Suggested Bet: Tackas Last Dance (8) win

Race 10

Boston Harbour (7) after three consecutive second placings he finds what appears an easier race, that is somewhat offset by the awkward inside of the back row draw which could make things difficult here. Will need a clever drive.

Kingsbury (3) forced to do the work outside the leader at Marburg, tired late on a track which it appeared difficult to do work on. Has gate speed and can look to press on early.

Fancy Like Barbie (1) always thereabouts without having been able to quite break her maiden, she draws favourably to get a softer trip after doing the work in the run last start.

Sports Mode (5) put in an improved run last start suggesting he may be working back towards some of his better form, a similar effort would see him competitive in this.

Selections: Boston Harbour (7), Kingsbury (3), Fancy Like Barbie (1), Sports Mode
Suggested Bet: Sports Mode (5) win
