The future of the remaining four races on the original SCTC card on Sunday, July 14 meeting’s programme will be determined by RQ within the next 48 hours.

Weather and the capacity of other tracks to accommodate these races will be important considerations, as will the existing composition of the provincial meeting programmes within South East Queensland over the next week.

Trainers are also reminded that under the auspices of Rule LR37 any horses denied the opportunity to run at today’s abandoned meeting can be nominated for any race for which acceptances have not closed.

Additionally, under the auspices of Racing Queensland’s Abandoned Race/Race Meeting Policy, compensation will be applicable (to horse connections and riders) in respect of the lost races at Caloundra today.
