SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

IS THAT A BID (11) is on the back up from Saturday night where he tackled the open trotters from the mobile and set a new track record. Resuming from a spell in that outing, it had followed a smart trial at Redcliffe and while he will need to chase in this, his win was big.

CEEPEEKAY (7) was out of the pack after starting from the 20m last start and making some metres in the closing stages for the bronze behind ALDEBARANSTILINSKI. First up in five weeks, she will strip fitter and can look to capitalise.

SHEER ARTISTRY (7) caught the eye when taking inside runs and hitting the line strongly last time out in the Qld Oaks, finishing within 7m of the winner AARDIE B MIKI. Powering home over the top of them here three starts back to score from gate 10, she can challenge again here.

BROOKFIELDS BEAUTY (1) has the gate to be right in the action and will strip fitter from her last start where she was returning from a freshen and attacked the line late.

The outside front line is never an easy task, yet the class drop for EVER ART (7) should be enough for the smart 3YO filly to overcome the alley. Game in defeat after working hard in the run last start in the Qld Oaks and finishing just 6m away, she should be too slippery.

LEITHEN BURN (1) has been sectionally super of recent times from tough gates. Strong to the line after retreating from gate 6 here two starts back, he was searching for space when 3rd behind SHES FULLOFSPIRIT last time. The improved gate can see him throw down a challenge.

A tricky race to line up here where the early hunt for the front looks willing. BEACH ON FIRE (5) started from the second line last start at Redcliffe and arrived in the last strides to claim a narrow margin. Placed both previous attempts, he might just be the one here.

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (2) started from inside the second line at Marburg last start and despite being snookered in the run, was able to find the space to arrive on the wire. Fitter again following two runs back from a spell, he has he early speed to find a challenging position.

ARCHILLES (9) made the most of his opportunities here two starts back when leading, releasing and them finishing best in the stretch. Luckless last start, he can be chiming in here.
