RACE ONE

It will need to be another step up from the second line, but ROYAL CRUISER (9) comes into this contest in great touch, after claiming victory at his past two starts. Pressing on from gate 5 to claim the Derby Consolation, he dictated here last week in a slick last 800.

MISTER REACTOR (2) started from a wide gate last start and worked early in finding position before fading late as ART JESTER powered home to victory. That was his second run back from a let up and with the improved gate, can issue the challenge.

R ELEVEN ART (3) held the pocket trail from gate 1 at the mile here two back when runner-up to SMIFFYS TERROR. Midfield last start when snagged back, he can be handy enough to feature.

COLLECT A DIME (6) has been super consistent and last start was beaten by the outside alley when retreating in the early stages. In the money his previous five in succession, he has claims.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL CRUISER (9), MISTER REACTOR (2), R ELEVEN ART (3), COLLECT A DIME (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL CRUISER (9) to win

RACE TWO

CAPTAINS PICK (6) was making metres in the closing stages at Redcliffe last start when grabbing the bronze behind DON ARTHUR. Eased from a wide gate and finding them too slippery as MAJOR MOTH scored two starts back, he might just be able to pinch this wide open contest.

CHAMONIX (9) was a Redcliffe winner two starts back when making the most of an economical trip to dart through on the passing lane. Runner-up last start when trying to take them all the way, he can trail through early to throw down a closing challenge.

LUXURY LAD (10) is on the back-up from Wednesday night where he was able to dart through on the passing lane to grab the prize.
DOCTA FEELGOOD (7) was 5m away at Redcliffe on Wednesday night which had followed a tough trip from the wide gate the start prior. The outside paint makes it an ask.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAINS PICK (6), CHAMONIX (9), LUXURY LAD (10), DOCTA FEELGOOD (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Keeping up to the mark in a recent trial having already qualified for this final, DELE ROW (13) looked sharp in the hit out. 3rd to ELLIS STREET in the Redcliffe Derby three starts back, he was rattling late when just a neck away in the South East Derby. Pressure up front will help his cause.

ELLIS STREET (10) went on a winning rampage, claiming five in succession which included feature races at Redcliffe of the Derby and 3YO Sales Final. Tackling the 4Yos at his past two, a return to his own age can see him throw down the challenge.

BALBOA ROCK (2) pressed on to find the front in the heat but could repel the closing challenge of BRONSKI ZULU. A winner at Launceston the start prior when resuming from a spell, he can be up on the engine.

BRONSKI ZULU (4) was faced with gate 7 in the heat and pressing on, sat parked and was too strong to the wire, pulling clear to a 6m margin. He can make his presence felt once again.

SELECTIONS: DELE ROW (13), ELLIS STREET (10), BALBOA ROCK (2), BRONSKI ZULU (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DELE ROW (13) to win

RACE FOUR

Barriers have not been kind to REASON TO SHINE (2) through the carnival, but she snares an important one here. Locked away in her heat from inside the second line, she was able to grab the bronze. The improved alley here can see her give a sight.

RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (6) was just behind the money in the Qld Oaks, finishing 3m from the winner AARDIE B MIKI. Too far back the start prior when starting from wide on the second line, she can press the issue here to get forward and throw down the challenge.

EVER ART (8) is a quality type but the inside second line makes it a tough map to overcome. Strong last start when sitting parked in slick time, she will need space.

IDEAL DESIRE (4) was able to pull clear for a strong heat win after working in the run and posting a 9m margin. She can settle handy enough to chase some minor money.

SELECTIONS: REASON TO SHINE (2), RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (6), EVER ART (8), IDEAL DESIRE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: REASON TO SHINE (2) win/place

RACE FIVE

Unbeaten in the first three starts of her career which included a Breeders Classic victory, COOL AND CLASSY (1) was the eye-catching run out of the Protostar where she was attacking the line in the closing stages behind FATE AWAITS. From the gate, she should live up to her name.

ARRIVE (8) has put together victories in her past two starts and maps for the ideal trip in behind the action here. Sent to the front last start, she was able to take them all the way with 3m to spare, closing it off in a 27.6 last panel. She will be stalking, awaiting the gap.

SEASIDE GLORY (7) has been luckless in snaring a marble and faces the outside front line again. Drawn wide in her heat, she was hitting the line nicely and can be chiming in again.

THE LADY DIOR (11) was returning from a let up in the heats when she worked to the front and was able to pull clear to an 8m margin. The outside second line is a stinger.

SELECTIONS: COOL AND CLASSY (1), ARRIVE (8), SEASIDE GLORY (7), THE LADY DIOR (11)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1 / 8 / 5-7-8-10-11

RACE SIX

One of the most even 2YO C&G Triad Finals in recent years with winning hopes across the page. THETORQUE MAJORITY (10) is a three-time winner in just four starts, the latest a gritty performance from the breeze. A big win from the front at the 2138 the start prior, he cops the tough gate, but might just have the class to get him home.

OUR SWEET DELIGHT (3) has won three of his five to date including his past two in succession. Making an error in the Changeover Classic, he bounced back with a dictating win in the Breeders Classic before charging off pace last start. He draws to throw down the challenge.

HAPPY AS CAN BE (1) led them up in the heat from gate 2 and held on for the bronze behind UDDERLY SWEET. With all the options, he is a podium player.

BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5) was impressive in his heat victory when leading all the way and pulling clear to post a 12m margin. Showing improvement at each appearance, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: THETORQUE MAJORITY (10), OUR SWEET DELIGHT (3), HAPPY AS CAN BE (1), BRAVENTREACHEROUS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: THETORQUE MAJORITY (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

Bad gates have been the norm for REGAZZO DI TILLY (7) who comes up with another putrid gate in a feature race. Hitting a roadblock last start in the 4YO Championship, he was just a half-head from getting the Eureka slot two starts back. He finds a race that he is up to winning.

APOLLO DREAMZ (4) was always facing a task last start over the 2138 when the tempo was against those trying to make ground. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior, he can get handy from this gate and look to make a play.

FOR REAL LIFE (6) will be looking to join some esteemed company in chasing a Triad clean sweep at each age. Last seen when parked in the Hayden, if he can get to the front, he might just see them off.

FREE THINKER (8) was game in defeat last start when sitting parked and finishing 4m from the winner through a 54.2 close out. From this gate, he will be searching for a way clear.

SELECTIONS: REGAZZO DI TILLY (7), APOLLO DREAMZ (4), FOR REAL LIFE (6), FREE THINKER (8)
SUGGESTED BET: REGAZZO DI TILLY (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

In a race where the 2138m trip might find a few out, the inside gate presented to LADY DIGBY (1) might be enough to see her capitalise. Just 2m from EYE KEEP SMILING last start over this same trip from the same gate, she can hustle through early, release and take the closing shot.

GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (6) has the front-line speed to dart across and take up the running here. Fading last start in the Fleur De Lil, she was only collared in the closing stages the start prior. Yet to win beyond the sprint, she can get to the front and dictate her own destiny.

JEWEL MELODY (8) faces a tough task from this gate if she is to claim a Triad threepeat after wins in the 2YO and 3YO Finals. Bouncing back into form with gritty wins at her past two, finding space looks her biggest threat.

CHEER LEADER (10) tackled open mares last start and pressing the issue early was then still just 4m from the winner ITS EBONYNIVORY. She can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: LADY DIGBY (1), GIRL FROM ROSEDALE (6), JEWEL MELODY (8), CHEER LEADER (10)
SUGGESTED BET: LADY DIGBY (1) to win

RACE NINE

If MY ULTIMATE SUNNY (1) steps, then it looks a times and margins scenario. A winner at four of five to date in his career, the only unplaced run was a super 5th when 7m from ROCKINWITHATTITUDE in The Great Square. Bouncing back to claim the Qld Trotters Derby, he just needs to be safe early.

PHOENIX RED (2) has been sent to the Wayne Graham stable for this series, arriving a two-time winner. Making an error last start at Ballarat, he stepped nicely in a recent trial on a recon mission here at The Creek where he trotted smartly. He can challenge.

SINGARA TED (5) looks the query runner, arriving on a hit-run mission from Victoria after just two starts. Down the line on debut back in March, he won first up at Melton and stays under watch.

AHUNDREDPLUS (6) rolled forward from the 10m tape last start and despite working in the run, was able to graft out the victory. This is a big step up, but she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE SUNNY (1), PHOENIX RED (2), SINGARA TED (5), AHUNDREDPLUS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE SUNNY (1) to win

RACE TEN

Likely to be three main winning chances in this 2YO Trotters Triad with LAYDOWNLUNA (2) coming into this fresh after winning back on July 9. Defeating the other two hopes on that occasion, she has been back to the trials and with added experience can cash in.

MONTEREY LASS (5) was fresh up last start and working to the front was able to see them off with a 6m margin to spare. Holding on for 3rd behind LAYDOWNLUNA at her previous start, she was in control with her victory. Some winning and peaking now is a big plus.

JUSTABITLIKETHIS (4) has shown good manner in all five starts, hitting the board in each, including pulling away in a romp two starts back. With a safe start, she can be right in the fight.

ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (6) has done plenty wrong but there is some ability there if she can put it all together.

SELECTIONS: LAYDOWNLUNA (2), MONTEREY LASS (5), JUSTABITLIKETHIS (4), ITS ALL RIGHT NOW (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LAYDOWNLUNA (2) to win
