Townsville apprentice jockey Isabella Teh celebrated a career milestone with her 100th winner at Cairns on Saturday.
Teh can ride at 48kg.
The milestone winner came aboard He's All Power for Trevor and Peter Rowe.
Formerly apprenticed to trainer Danny Bougoure, Teh moved to Townsville a couple of years ago on loan to trainer Sarah Acornley.
Teh was enjoying herself and riding winners so she decided to stay in North Queensland.
"Carl - Sarah's partner - and Sarah have been really great to me and I learnt a lot from Carl," Teh said.
"I had a good association with the Bill Kenning-trained brilliant two-year-old Roweiner's Dance and other trainers in general. I ride track work for Sarah and other trainers who want a "senior claimer".
"I won a number of races on Chilli Jam for trainer Tony Comerford and she won her way into the Cleveland Bay but had reached the end of her preparation.
"I hope to resume the association when Chilli Jam returns to work. Meanwhile, I'll just keep plugging along exercising and trying to build up my weight."
Apart from reaching her 100 victories milestone, Teh has the achievement of riding the five-race card at Stamford last year when she reflects on her career.
