Form Analysis: Redcliffe - 13 October

RACE 1 

PRESS STATEMENT (2) ran a placing after leading two runs ago at Redcliffe. Last start got back in a stronger race and didn’t get into it but recorded a solid personal mile rate. 

LULU LUCIFER (1) could secure the run of the race. Is going much better than numerical form would suggest and looks a solid hope. 

KEAYANG TARA (3) zipped off the gate last start at Albion park before handing over and battling into fourth. This looks easier and she can be thereabouts. 

MIGHTY GEORGE (5) finished off powerfully two runs ago to dead heat with Sir Boston. No luck last time out. Looks right in this.

RACE 2 

GOTTA DREAM (5) was sent forward in the early stages last start before being caught without cover. Battled on well for fourth there and if able to find the front this time would prove very hard to catch. 

ROCKTIME (6) was a dominant winner two starts ago at this track. Stepped up in grade last start and was well beaten behind Allornothinglevi who looks a pretty smart horse. 

HOIHO (9) finished well back last start but had genuine excuses. Can bounce back. 

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (8) has been racing consistently. Can get a soft run through in the early stages and come with one run.

SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA DREAM (5) to win. 

RACE 3

ACE LOMBO (9) impressed working hard three and four runs ago when not beaten far. He did too much work last time out faded late. 

MISTER HART (1) is first up in this race and looks very hard to beat if fit enough. Has the gate speed to dictate early. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (4) had no luck two starts ago when dragged out of the race before hitting the line strongly. 

MILLIEWOOD (2) had every chance last start and was just no match late for the winner Rocknroll Max. Can obtain a good run in this race and looks a good hope. 

SELECTIONS: ACE LOMBO (9), MISTER HART (1), CONNIES SPIRIT (4), MILLIEWOOD (2) 

SUGGESTED BET: MISTER HART (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9) loomed ominously two starts ago before fading into a disappointing fourth as short priced favourite. Didn’t have the clearest passage last start in what became a dash home. 

ROCCO VARIETY (3) has gate speed and a low draw. He is racing well enough to take this out. 

JILLIBY PANDA (6) has been very impressive in recent outings running on strongly. Looks to be closing in 

DEEP REGRET (5) has won at the track previously early in his career. Hasn’t been at his best in recent starts. 

SELECTIONS: CAPTAIN OH CAPTAIN (9), ROCCO VARIETY (3), JILLIBY PANDA (6), DEEP REGRET (5)

SUGGESTED BET: JILLIBY PANDA (6) each way. 

RACE 5

GOODTIME CRACKER (6) has plenty of gate speed and is hard to run down when able to lead. Ran well three starts ago when running on strongly late. 

SUNNY COVE (5) returns in this race from a spell. He went around a short priced favourite in his last race start and could only manage second. At his best he would be hard to beat. 

DOLLARBILL (8) is better than his recent form suggests. If he puts it all together he can be thereabouts. 

FLOORLESS (2) ran on strongly into the placings. Can figure again from a good draw. 

SELECTIONS: GOODTIME CRACKER (6), SUNNY COVE (5), DOLLARBILL (8), FLOORLESS (2) 

SUGGESTED BET: GOODTIME CRACKER (6) to win.

RACE 6 

SCHOOBY (5) returned last start with a fourth. Should be better for the run and this race looks no tougher. 

FEELING THE POWER (9) returns from a spell and looks hard to beat if fit enough. 

CHAKANA (4) has been racing in good form. If she can do no work early she can figure in this late. 

LAZY BLAZE (1) ran second behind Tulhurst Cuddles last start. Can figure in the finish again if able to obtain the right run.

RACE 7

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (6) looks well placed in this race. If he can recapture his best form he’d be very hard to beat. 

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (9) ran on well late last start in a race he got a long way back. This race looks easier and he can run into it late. 

TODAYS HERO (4) took on a stronger race last start at Marburg and was able to run fourth. 

BEYONSKI (1) has the key draw and can dictate in the early stages.

RACE 8

HAWK EYE (5) is having its first start for the Chloe Butler stable. Looks well placed in this company. 

CALL ME TRISH (9) is returning from a spell. Looks right in this race despite drawing outside the back row. 

PABLOS ART (6) looks to have landed in a slightly easier race than his last few. Can be thereabouts. 

MAGIC NITRO (8) hasn’t been in her best form in recent starts. Can finish off well when at her best.
