Form Analysis: Redcliffe - 17 October

RACE 1 

TAKING A PUNT (2) has placed in all three starts after returning from a spell. Should be nearing peak fitness and has drawn favourably. 

ROCKWITHBON JUJON (7) finished a long way behind the first few horses in a recent race at Albion Park but ran a decent mile rate herself. This looks more suitable and she has options early. 

WHYKIKAMOOCOW (5) ran in strongly from back in the field last start in an effort that suggested he’s nearing a maiden victory. He will need to overcome a tricky draw. 

CHARMAWAY (6) was doing her best work late last start in a race that didn’t suit those back in the field.

RACE 2 

SMOOTH OVERARM (4) sat leaders back last start behind Mynamesevan and couldn’t quite reel that horse in. He can figure in this race with the right trip. 

MY ULTIMATE VICTOR (2) has gate speed and may be able to find the front in this race. He has been racing well. 

BRIAN CHRISTOPHER (7) battled on strongly last start after breezing in fast time for the 2040. He should be hard to beat with a repeat of that effort. 

THE VIXEN (1) hit the line reasonably last start when eventually clear. Should secure a good run in this race and can be thereabouts.

RACE 3

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8) ran into it strongly last start. He draws favourably and should be running on strong at the finish. 

TORQUE IN CONTROL (9) has a fantastic record at the track and didn’t have the best of luck last start. Was a winner at this trip three starts ago when sitting outside the leader. 

MISTER HART (2) worked hard early last start and battled on well for third. He comes into this race second up should be better for that first up outing. 

ISLA AND ADDIE (3) didn’t have much luck last start when held up for a clear run late. Draws awkwardly and may need to do the work.

SUGGESTED BET: GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8) to win. 

RACE 4 

LUXURY LAD (2) lead two runs ago before over racing badly and just tiring late. Luckless last start when taken back at the start. He has a good record leading and can bounce back. 

MIRACLE MOOSE (7) looks to have landed in a race that’s slightly easier than his past few outings. He has options in the early stages. 

SUBTLE DELIGHT (1) was hitting the line well late last start. He hasn’t drawn one since June and is likely to be suited by the good draw. 

DRIVE TO THE BEACH (5) hasn’t been beaten far in his last few starts. Ran into second four starts ago behind Raging Sea which looks good form for this.

SUGGESTED BET: SUBTLE DELIGHT (1) each way. 

RACE 5

THERESACHANCE (1) has great gate speed and draws the perfect gate. He drops in grade and will likely need things to suit but looks one of the top chances. 

A PERFECT DANCE (9) has been placed in her last two starts. Shes perfectly suited from the soft trailing draw. Was third last start behind Ashlee Nitro and Betting Jewel. 

ZOOM PARTY (8) ran on strongly last start into third after obtaining a soft run on the pegs.

QUEENSLANDER (7) looked to be getting the right run into the race last start and just didn’t quite finish off. He draws to do no work in this race and can be thereabouts.

RACE 6 

MOMENTUM SWING (1) gate speed horse that comes into this race having run top two his past three starts including a good win two starts ago sitting outside the leader. Should be hard to beat. 

SUPA DUPA LUCA NZ (3) has gone around a short price on all three Australian starts and is yet to break through for a win. Steps out for his first run for the Livingstone stable having not raced for over a month. Difficult to assess his chances. 

OBI ONE (8) was tucked away on the pegs last start in what became a dash to the last where he wasn’t suited. Has landed a good trailing draw in this race and can figure. 

WINDY HILL WALLY (4) hasn’t had much luck in recent starts held up at a crucial stage his last two starts. He has a somewhat awkward draw, can figure with luck.

SUGGESTED BET: MOMENTUM SWING (1) to win. 

RACE 7

MACS A DUDE (9) hasn’t raced for over a month after a luckless effort last time at Albion Park where he didn’t get until the clear until very late. Racing well and this looks very suitable. 

OYSTER STRIDE (3) is racing well and hasn’t been beaten far in recent efforts. Has gate speed and is usually thereabouts when able to lead. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (1) worked hard in the early stages last start before eventually finding the leaders back trail. Can figure in this race with a softer run in the early stages. 

HOIHO (7) ran on well last start behind the in form Rock Time. Will need luck from the draw.

SUGGESTED BET: MACS A DUDE (9) to win. 

RACE 8

MISSDEHEIR (5) is racing in good form. Was a winner three starts ago at Kilcoy before placing third after leading in her two latest starts. 

GET ME OUTTA HERE (8) ran well at this trip three starts ago when closing strongly late to just miss nabbing Mister Diamond. He wasn’t beaten far last time out and this looks suitable. 

JOGALONG COOP (2) went around favourite last start and was beaten over 60 metres. He was made to work hard there in the early stages but needs to lift off that effort to figure here. 

SOMEONES WATCHING (6) made an error last time out in what appeared a race with more depth. He has taken on slightly stronger races his last few and may find this one easier.
