Julia Creek meeting transferred

Racing Queensland confirms that the Julia Creek track is unsuitable for racing this weekend. 

Saturday’s meeting has been transferred to Mount Isa. 

The changes have rendered it necessary to amend some distances on the program and accordingly it now comprises –

Mount Isa Race Club – Saturday, November 16

• Julia Creek Cup Open Handicap, 1350m, $15k, is now 1450m – starting limit reduced from 12 to 10 horses;
• Benchmark 50 Handicap, 1350m, $10k, is now 1450m - starting limit reduced from 12 to 10 horses;
• Benchmark 55 Handicap, 1200m, $11k, is unaltered;
• Benchmark 45 Handicap, 1100m, $10k, is unaltered; and
• Maiden Plate, 1200m, $10k, is unaltered.
