Form Analysis: Albion Park January 25

RACE 1 

THE MIGHTY SULLY (3) worked hard to lead last start in a 26 first quarter before taking control and scoring a dominant victory. He steps up in this race and draws somewhat awkwardly but can likely get forward and look to dominate again. 

ALTA EQUUS (1) has the draw to dictate in the early stages. He was good running into third last start and battled on well his start prior behind Luvbite into second. 

APOLLO DREAMZ (5) returned to form last start when working extremely hard for the top and running along the whole way only beaten late by the horse off his back. He has shown himself to be a quality horse at his best and he may have turned a corner. 

CHEER LEADER (8) looks likely to get a good run through in the early stages. Can be thereabouts with even luck in running.

RACE 2 

MOMENTUM SWING (7) has been brilliant since joining the stable of Donny Smith. He showed very impressive speed last start to come from the back over the 2138. He steps back to the mile and may get back to last in the run but certainly looks capable of overcoming that the way he has been racing. 

COLLECT A DIME (5) has secured good runs in recent racing and has been able to run into placings. He loves to race up on speed in his races and this looks a race he may get that opportunity. 

MONSIEUR DELACOUR (4) was faced by a tough draw last start outside the front row. He got a long way back there and appeared to hit the line with plenty to give late without having the clearest passage on the way home. 

OUR MAJOR DAY (8) led last start and hung on well there for second behind O B Legal. Could secure an economical run in this race.

RACE 3

MIKI MAGIC (3) has impressed since joining the stable of Chantal Turpin. She got into an awkward position last start and was still able to win impressively. She may be able to work to the top in this race and if she can she will take plenty of catching. 

ART JESTER (1) is generally driven with a sit. If he can find the right horse to follow he looks a good hope of being in the finish late. 

KASH US BACK (4) improved last start at Redcliffe when getting badly checked before still finishing off well late into third. He can be running on again. 

STUDLEIGH PUNTER (6) was forced to sit without cover last start and battled on well enough.

SUGGESTED BET: MIKI MAGIC (3) to win. 

RACE 4 

FRANKIE FEROCIOUS (4) trialled up sharply behind Leap To Fame making up strong late ground. He draws to advantage over his main rivals in this race and looks clearly hardest to beat. 

NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (7) can never be ruled and is always thereabouts. He ran on strongly last start to get into third behind Leap To Fame. 

TIMS A TROOPER (6) had no luck last start when dragged out of the race by tiring runners. He draws wide in this race and will need the tempo on to figure. 

CATSEYE BEACH (1) was left without cover behind Duke Of Scotland in what was a track record time. He battled on very well there to not be beaten further and should he obtain the leaders back trail he looks a strong place hope.

SUGGESTED BET: CATSEYE BEACH (1) to place. 

RACE 5

RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (4) was an impressive winner of the Triad Final for the 3YO fillies late last year in very fast time. She returned last start 

JOANS RISING STAR (2) is a gate speed horse and draws favourably. If she can find a prominent position up on speed she looks a solid hope. 

MAJORITA JUJON (7) draws poorly in this race outside the front row. She has run well in recent outings and appears to enjoy being saved for one run at them late. 

KOWHAI BLAZE (1) draws to have options in the early stages. She is stepping up in this race but appears to have the ability to figure.

SUGGESTED BET: RYLEE RHAYNE BOW (4) to win. 

RACE 6 

AQUA SANCTA (2) was a good placing last start in a race over the mile. He steps up the 2138 for this race which should be no concern having raced well over the trip in recent outings. 

RISK TAKER (8) secured a good run last start and was able to get into third there behind My Rocky Romance. This looks a similar race and he can be thereabouts again. 

BOLD MEDLEY JUJON (1) will likely be looking to hold the top in the early stages of this race. Can be thereabouts again after running fourth in a similar field last start. 

MAYWYN TROUBADOR (3) is arguably in career best form. He bumped into Free Thinker last start a horse that would likely be a very short quote in this race.

SUGGESTED BET: AQUA SANCTA (2) to win. 

RACE 7

LOVE GUN (4) tentatively goes on top in this race after a very impressive win when sitting 1-1 and racing away. She has proven to be a very difficult horse to follow in her time in QLD having broken in five of her seven starts in QLD. Has the ability to take this out. 

THEBESTBOURBON (2) is a gate speed horse that can find herself on the front end early with options. She began slowly from the stand last start which was the end of her chances. 

TOP OF THE MOMENT (5) has been racing well in recent starts. He has very high speed and if he is able to secure a good run can be finishing off well. 

FUNNY FACE (6) did things wrong from the stand last start. Her last run from the mobile was good making up late ground.

SUGGESTED BET: FUNNY FACE (6) each way. 

RACE 8

THESUNANDTHEMOON (8) trialled up brilliantly recently when rating very fast time to just narrowly go down to Wisper A Secret and beat For Real Life. She find a very moderate band 5 race and looks likely to prove very hard to beat. 

BONNIES DANCE (2) was very good two starts back when flashing through late to just miss. She got shuffled a long way back last start and hit the line strongly once clear. 

AARDIES MONEY (5) ran on well into third last start. She is still seemingly learning to race and gradually getting more professional. 

MISS FROUFROU (1) is a horse with gate speed that will dictate the early map. She led last start and faded in this grade so she may look for a trail this time.
