RACE 1 

SPORTING TRISTAR (1) is a gate speed horse that’s first up from a spell in this race. Can run well if ready to go. 

SKYGIRL (5) has been competitive in recent starts in races that may have had slightly more depth. She should be in the finish. 

BEAU STEELE (8) has been thereabouts in recent starts. Should secure a good run from the trailing draw. 

GRACENAVA (7) has been much improved in recent outings running a good second last start.

SUGGESTED BET: GRACENAVA (7) to win. 

RACE 2 

BONNIES CAM (4) has brilliant gate speed on his day, looks a race with plenty of gate speed underneath but if he was able to get across he would certainly give them something to catch. 

COSMIC FLYER (5) has been very good in his last few outings. He is likely to get back in the run and run on strongly. 

LITTLELIONELJAMES (1) has gate speed. He hasn’t been at his absolute best in his last couple of starts and is likely still working to peak fitness. 

GWYNETH P (8) returns for a new stable here after a few months off.

SUGGESTED BET: BONNIES CAM (4) to win. 

RACE 3

GOTTA DREAM (1) draws ideally in gate one for a horse that has traditionally done his best racing out in front. Ran well last start into second. 

SUBTLE CHAY (3) ran well two starts ago while still appearing to have his chance there. Can race up on the speed. 

SHADYS DELIGHT (2) has been in good form in recent starts. Ran well three starts ago to score and hasn’t had a lot of luck in his last two starts. 

JET FORCE (6) ran on strongly last start first up from a spell. Likely to get back again and can figure late.

SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA DREAM (1) to win. 

RACE 4 

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (5) got back to last in the run last start from a wide gate. This race looks much easier and he should be hard to beat. 

CONNIES SPIRIT (6) returns from a spell this race. If she is fit enough first up she is likely to be hard to beat. 

TAPTHEKEG (7) draws inside the back row which is likely to make things difficult. Is certainly good enough to figure with luck. 

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (9) ran a good placing last start and can be running on late. 

SELECTIONS: WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (5), CONNIES SPIRIT (6), TAPTHEKEG (7), DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (9)

SUGGESTED BET: CONNIES SPIRIT (6) to win. 

RACE 5

CALCULATED RISK (5) returns in this race and appears to bring in significantly better form than her rivals. Can do the work and should be hard to beat. 

HOLD BACK THE RIVER (2) was slightly improved two runs back when battling away after leading for fourth. Would need to improve to take this out but does look a leading place contender. 

TAKIDAH (8) got back in the run last start and didn’t make much impression late. This race looks to have less depth and she can be hard to beat. 

FLOORLESS (1) draws ideally in gate 1. She doesn’t have much gate speed but can figure with the right run.

SUGGESTED BET: CALCULCATED RISK (5) to win. 

RACE 6 

STORMBOY STAR (5) would prove extremely hard to beat if able to lead. He was forced to do the work last start and was entitled to tire in what looked a much stronger race. 

HEAVENS BABY (6) has been racing well in recent starts. She is likely to be running on strong. 

ROCCO VARIETY (8) led two starts ago and was just run down late when finishing second. 

DEEP REGRET (7) has proven to be a very well named horse for his backers throughout his career. His best is good enough.

RACE 7

PEEJAY MACK (3) is a gate speed horse that looks to have found a suitable first up assignment. She is having her first up for the stable of Alex Johnson. 

THE BLINGSTER (2) looks likely to secure a good run off a low draw. Recent form has been significantly improved and he looks a good hope of running into the money. 

KNIGHT JUJON (1) secures a perfect draw but does need to improve significantly on recent form. 

SIGNER SNAP (6) last run was much improved. Can be running on late.
