Race 1: Columba Catholic College Benchmark 60 Handicap 800 metres:
1st – HEART OF STRENGTH 2nd – COURT ACTION 3rd – OVER THE CHOICE 4th – COLEY

ISTALENA – Slow to begin.

HEART OF STRENGTH – Bumped at the start.

OVER THE CHOICE – Bumped at the start.

EXCEEDED – Passing the 400 metres was bumped when racing tight to the inside of another runner.

COURT ACTION – Passing the 400 metres had to be steadied when racing tight to the inside of another runner.

COLEY – On return to scale Jockey J Felix reported that after joining the course proper near the 500 metres his mount was inclined to hang out.
