Race 1: Bill Whites Electrics Class 3 Plate- 1300 METRES

COOL DAYS- Slow into stride and raced wide without cover throughout.

Race 2: Emerald Coaches Maiden Plate- 1200 METRES

BORN WILD- Little slow to begin and hampered when another runner was taken inwards at the start.

MANGOBACK THE CAT- Jumped in onto MISS JAMAICA.

MISS JAMAICA- Taken inwards onto another runner at the start.

SWEET AIRLIE- Explanation for late declaration of rider was accepted. When Jockey B Bell was able to ride the filly, he was declared as the rider.

FLAMBOYANT MISS- Raced wide without cover throughout.

RAILROAD BILL- Slow to begin.

ORCHID AVENUE- Near the 300 metres, held up for a short distance. Jockey McCullum was fined $200 for use of his whip in excess of 5 times prior to the 100 metres.

Race 3: Steve Taylor & Partners Open Handicap- 1100 METRES

POWERFUL JET- Near 900 metres, when another runner shifted out, shifted wider on the track.

MAN OF DESTINY- Shifted out and raced wide from the 800 metres.

Race 4: MSP Photography Class B Handicap- 1000 METRES

JUST ONE WISH- Slow to begin.

WHYMEGOD- Jumped out and when another runner made contact with its hindquarters, shifted out further and inconvenienced runners to its outside.

THAT’S THE PLAN- Explanation for late declaration of rider was accepted. Contact with hindquarters of another runner, which shifted out, and caused the gelding to be hampered and lose ground.

MURPHY’S HUSTLER- Hampered at the start. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any significant abnormalities.

UNCHAIN JAYNE- Lay in near the 700 metres and caused another to be steadied.

GOODNESS GRACIOUS- Steadied near the 700 metres.

Race 5: Emerald Tyre Centre QTIS 2YO Plate- 1000 METRES

CRAIGLEA AMITY- Prior to the declaration of correct weight, Stewards viewed the available patrol films of the start. After doing so, it was established that the filly was fractious prior to the start being effected, and while being assisted by a barrier attendant and the start was effected, threw its head in the air and lost ground. Stewards were of the opinion that the filly was not denied a fair start and correct weight was declared. A post-race veterinary inspection did not reveal any abnormalities.
