CampRace 1: Brodie & Co Class B Handicap 800 metres: 1st - YANCHA BOY 2nd - PURFLEET PRINCESS 3rd - SWEENEY 4th – READY TO DAZZLE PURFLEET PRINCESS – Jumped outwards bumping another runner.YANCHA BOY – Bumped by another runner on jumping and lost ground. SPURS ON - Slow into stride and the raced wide rounding the 600 metres. BLUE DANUBE – Slow into stride.PAYOLA – Near the 700 metres attempted to buck for approximately 100 metres losing considerable ground. Then raced wide for the remainder of the race. Rider T. Chambers advised she believed the mare had resented the kickback. As the mare had bucked at its previous start, Trainer S. Gabriel-Royes was advised that the mare must successfully complete two (2) barrier trials prior to again being permitted to race. READY TO DAZZLE – Raced wide rounding the home turn. Race 2: Start Construction-Kevin From Heaven QTIS Maiden Plate 800 metres: 1st - HONEY CAT 2nd - BRONZE TIARA 3rd - JUST PRETENDS 4th – ON A ZEPHYRTALE OF FORTUNE – Slow to go.JUST PRTETENDS – Slowly into stride after being buffeted between runners on jumping. Raced wide rounding the home turn. COCOA POPS – Bumped with another runner on jumping. Raced wide throughout. LACH’S POCKET – Bumped with another runner on jumping. BRONZE TIARA – Slowly away. TALE OF FORTUNE – Slowly away.Race 3: Nowland Engineering/George Watson Memorial Benchmark 45 Handicap 1150 metres: 1st - BORN TO FIRE and DANE SWEEPER (Dead Heat) 3rd - NICABELLE 4th – WULFWIN BORN TO FIRE – Jumped in at the start bumping with another runner. Raced wide at the 1000 metres. WULFWIN – Was bumped by another runner on jumping. Was unable to muster early pace. NICABELLE – Jumped awkwardly and bumped with another runner. Raced wide for the majority.KELCHEZ – Was bumped by another runner on jumping. A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off side hind leg. Trainer Mr. J Bawden was advised a veterinary certificate is required prior to starting again. A dead heat for first place between BORN TO FIRE and DANE SWEEPER was declared by the judges. Prior to the declaration of correct weight the trainers of both horses viewed the photo finish print and were satisfied with the declared result. Correct weight was then declared. Race 4: Niverak Smash Repairs/Columba Catholic College Benchmark 60 Handicap 1150 metres:1st - MURRUMBIDGEE 2nd - MOUNTAIN PROMISE 3rd - COURT ACTION 4th – MOSSALE FLAMINGO ROSE – Jumped out onto another runner. MOSSALE - Bumped by another runner on jumping. AZUSA - Jumped out onto another runner. BUSH LAWYER - Bumped by another runner on jumping. Raced wide rounding the 1000 metres. COURT ACTION - . Raced wide rounding the 1000 metres. Race 5: Burke Shire Cup Open Handicap 1300 metres: 1st - ALL FIVERS 2nd - IRON METEORITE 3rd - WHAT THE HECK 4th - CARRY MECARRY ME – Slowly away.IRON METEORITE – Was slowly away and was unable to muster early pace despite the urgings of Jockey Ms. T Chambers who reported that the gelding resented the kick back in running and had raced ungenerously until the 500 metres, when taken wider on the track. Race 6: - North West Canoe Club Benchmark 50 Handicap 1500 Metres: 1st - SNAZZY SOX 2nd - REQUIREMENT 3rd - BANCO 4th - STAR ODYSSEYJockey J Esser who advised Stewards that he was suffering from heat exhaustion was replaced by Jockey A Spradau as the rider of REQUIREMENT. TIRYNS - Jumped outwards at the start.GUN AND POWER - Was crowded by another runner which shifted outwards immediately after jumping. THE PANTZ – A post- race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near side foreleg. Trainer K.
