WEATHER – FINE TRACK RATING – SOFT 5 / GOOD 4 (After Race 1) RAIL – IN TRUE POSITION

Race 1: Collins Catering Class 3 Plate 900 metres:
1st – TOXICITY 2nd – ROSIE’S COMMAND 3rd – DASH OF BLACK 4th – MISS MYSTIFIED

MISS MYSTIFIED – Was unable to muster early pace. Had to be shifted wide to obtain clear running in the home straight.

TOXICITY – Was wide rounding the home turn.

FALSE ALARM – Shifted out under pressure near the 150 metres inconveniencing a tiring runner. Jockey J Lambie was instructed to stop riding and straighten under similar circumstances.

ZOE BAY – Was inconvenienced near the 150 metres by another runner which shifted out under pressure.

SAPODILLA – Raced wide for the majority of the event.

Following the running of this event Stewards upgraded the track rating to a Good 4.

Race 2: Midway Butchers Benchmark 65 Handicap 1100 metres:
1st – TIERES ROCK 2nd – DANE WILL DO 3rd – ROSE OF CLARE 4th – NINETYNINE PERCENT

STARLIGHT BELLE - Raced barefoot in front after shifting a front plate in the mounting enclosure and Stewards ordered the removal of the other front plate.

TIERES ROCK - Was inclined to lay in for a short distance passing the 1000 metres crowding another runner.

ARCANUS – Passing the 1000 metres was inconvenienced by another runner which was inclined to lay in. Near the 200 metres had to be checked off the heels of another runner which had shifted in abruptly after overreacting to pressure from a runner to its outside which was also inclined to shift in.

NINETYNINEPERCENT – Shifted in abruptly and hampered another runner near the 200 metres after overreacting and shying away from a runner to its outside which was inclined to shift in.

DANE WILL DO – Was inclined to shift in under pressure down the running. App. M Kai was issued with a reprimand under the provisions of AR137(a) for failing to stop riding and straighten.

Race 3: Radio 4KZ Class B Handicap 1200 metres:
1st – YIFAN 2nd – SHORT TERM 3rd – HELOW TUCKER 4th – PHANTOM SOX

HELOW TUCKER – Shifted out abruptly soon after the start crowding another runner. Was inclined to race ungenerously, placing Jockey K Rockett at a disadvantage, for a considerable distance passing the 1000 metres when positioned awkwardly, and in restricted room, after being crossed by another runner which was not quite clear.

LATEST EDITION – Was inconvenienced when crowded by another runner which shifted out abruptly soon after the start.

PHANTOM SOX – Jockey S Kaya was instructed to exercise more care after crossing to the rail near the 1000 metres when not quite clear.

SAY LA FI – Was hampered for a considerable distance, and was inclined to race ungenerously, passing the 1000 metres when awkwardly placed inside the heels of another runner which was also racing ungenerously.

SHORT TERM – Was inclined to race keenly in the early and middle stages.

YIFAN – Was inclined to lay in under pressure down the running.

Race 4: Magic Millions FNQ Up & Coming Stayers Benchmark 45 Handicap 1500 metres:
1st – CASHED UP BULLY 2nd – FRUMBOLI 3rd – HOTEL SPLENDIDO 4th – CUT’N’POLISH

I AM BRUSE – Lost ground after improving onto the heels of another runner near the 1000 metres.

CASHED UP BULLY – Was wide rounding the home turn.

DRAGON HART – Was wide rounding the home turn. Bumped with another runner soon after straightening.

HOTEL SPLENDIDO – Was inclined to lay out on straightening taking another runner wider.

WAR SHADOW – On straightening was taken wider by another runner which was inclined to lay out.

DESERT GAMBLER – On straightening was hampered by another runner which had been taken wide.

WINDSOR GOLD - Bumped with another runner soon after straightening.

Race 5: Next Race Day 11th June Benchmark 65 Handicap 1500 metres:
1st – LIL’ RED MONKEY 2nd – TRY ME DOL 3rd – CORONATION JOURNEY 4th – TESTAMYCOLOURS

TESTAMYCOLOURS – Was slowly away after beginning awkwardly.

Jockey S Wilson pleaded guilty to a charge under the provisions of AR137A in that he used the whip on CORONATION JOURNEY on 7 occasions prior to the 100 metres, twice more than permitted under the rule. Stewards suspended Jockey Wilson’s licence to ride in races for a period of 7 days to commence on Sunday May 29th, 2016 and to expire at midnight on Saturday June 4th, 2016.
