Late notification of riders:

While Stewards accepted the circumstances which resulted in the late notification of Jockey A. Coome as rider of MCBULLIRUM in Race 2 and OUR LITTLE MIRACLE in Race 6, Trainer W Kenning was reprimanded.

Race 1: XXXX Gold BenchMark 70 Handicap - 1821 metres
1st - FASTNET FLYER 2nd PRESSUM 3rd LOGICAL OUTCOME 4th - MISTY MONTANA

CUPSTER - Scratched after acceptance time and prior to the declaration of riders. Stewards accepted the trainer's reason for doing so.

ALPINTORO- Near the 1200 metres, raced ungenerously.

Race 2: Callaghan Park Function & Events Centre QTIS 2-Y-O Maiden Handicap - 1050 metres
1st VIRGIN TERRITORY 2nd OUR INVESTMENT 3rd REDATAQ 4th - IMNOTABAY

Stewards accepted the reason tendered by trainer L. Wanless for the late declaration of Apprentice M. Haley as the rider of MISTA BUSY and Jockey A. Lawrence as the rider of VIRGIN TERRITORY.

INFRANGIBLE - Made contact with another runner on jumping.

VIRGIN TERRITORY - Bumped by another runner on jumping.

OUR INVESTMENT - At the start shifted in onto RELNINO, which was taken in and made contact with AZIRAP.

MISTA BUSY - Slow into stride. Near the 700 metres over-raced on the heels of another runner and in the early stages of the straight was inclined to lay in.

ROWDY RONDA - Raced wide without cover throughout.

RELNINO - At the start taken inwards and made contact with another runner. Raced wide without cover throughout.

AZIRAP - Raced wide with cover throughout.

CELESTIAL SON- Held up for clear running leaving the 350 metres until near the 200 metres.

Race 3: Rockhampton Grammar School Raceday Sat 7 May C,G&E Maiden Handicap - 1200 metres
1st NO DOUTE BEN 2nd NORUDDER NOCOMPASS 3rd THE CLANG AFFAIR 4th - ZATOCHIO

EASY AS PYE - A pre-race veterinary examination cleared the gelding to take its place in the field. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that it had a slight discharge from both nostrils, however no other abnormality. Nevertheless, trainer J. Pointon was advised that he must provide a veterinary clearance prior to EASY AS PYE being permitted to race again.

ZATORIO - Jumped out abruptly at the start and hampered GRAND HOTEL, which was taken out onto NORUDDER NOCOMPASS. Near the 700 metres was bumped by another runner and lost ground.

GRAND HOTEL - Hampered at the start. Slow to begin and raced wide throughout.

NORUDDER NOCOMPASS - Bumped shortly after the start. Lost near fore plate in running.

NO DOUTE BEN - Held up from leaving the 400 metres until near the 200 metres.

Race 4: XXXX Winter Carnival QTIS 3-Y-O Maiden Handicap - 1050 metres
1st ISLAND TANG 2nd SENORITA ROSITA 3rd CAPELLA GIRL 4th - LOVEYAH JESSIE

RING DING and MISS DORA - Made contact on jumping.

CAPELLA GIRL - Began awkwardly and unbalanced the rider momentarily.

OUR BOY HIPPY - Raced wide without cover. Commenced to lay in near the 600 metres and continued to do so for the majority of the home straight.

ABE'S BABY - Raced wide without cover throughout.

Race 5: Rocky Amateurs Raceday Sat 14 May BenchMark 65 Handicap - 1400 metres
1st HIDDEN NATURE 2nd MACHO TYCOON 3rd DARK ANGEL 4th - ELLE THE MODEL

Stewards were notified that Jockey J. P. Stanley was not riding at the meeting. Jockey D. Evans was substituted as the rider of HIDDEN NATURE.

ELLE THE MODEL - Slow to begin. Rider lost his whip near the 300 metres.

MACHO TYCOON - Jockey D. Hayse was fined $200 under A.R. 137A for using his whip on the gelding on 5 occasions more than permitted under the rule. In assessing penalty stewards took account of Jockey Hayse's good record in regard to the rule.

HIDDEN NATURE - Began awkwardly.

VO TREASURE - Slow to begin.

MAMSELLE CORDAY - Raced 3 wide without cover throughout, and over-raced for a short distance from the 1200 metres

CRAIGLEA ALTISE - Raced wide with cover throughout.

Race 6: XXXX Bitter Class 1 Handicap - 1200 metres
1st- ZIZA SPIRIT 2nd - MUSCOVY 3rd - SAINTLY PRO - 4th - SERENE SAGA

CORNISH TALES - Slow to begin.

THE CATHOLIC GIRL - Slow to begin.

CRAIGLEA DIXIE – Trainer K Johnston was fined $100 under A.R. 140B for presenting the filly without a nasal strip. Raced without the use of this gear.

OUR LITTLE MIRACLE - Slow to begin and took up a position close to the running rail at the rear of the field.

SAINTLY PRO - Raced wide without cover throughout.

RAGE WITHIN - Raced wide with cover throughout.

ZIZA SPIRIT - Near the 900 metres over-raced and lay out onto MUSCOVY.

MUSCOVY - Near the 800 metres rolled in onto ZIZA SPIRIT, which had to be steadied.
