Following the horse’s late arrival on course, a pre-race sample was taken and the gelding underwent a veterinary examination following which the gelding was cleared to start. Trainer Matthew John Dunn was fined $200 under LR30(2) for failing to present the horse on course by the prescribed time. Had to be resaddled after arriving at the barriers. Raced wide throughout.
