Raced ungenerously whilst being restrained in the early and middle stages. Hung out rounding the home turn at which point the mare was bumped on the hindquarters by another runner and became unbalanced.

Trainer M. Kropp advised Stewards that, if circumstances permit, it is the intention for the gelding to be ridden further back in the field than its previous start. Reared very high in the barrier as the gate opened and struck its head on the barrier partition and, as a result, lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities.
