Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped. Had to be steadied away from heels after leaving the 600m. Inquiry re tactics adopted near the 100m. Jockey Browne stated he was instructed o make ground outside as the horse was held up inside close to the rail previously. He added whilst his mount was inclined to hang in slightly, he tried follow instructions and improve to the outside of the heels near the 100m. He said in hindsight he may have erred by doing this and should have improved to the inside of ROYAL HUSSY. He added it raced greenly throughout. Lost near fore plate in running.
